New Pornographers + Belle & Sebastian @ Nokia Theatre
Thursday night was amazing! The New Pornographers and Belle & Sebastian were soooo good. Kendra and I got on the line around 6:15 and the doors opened at 6:30. I bought a B&S limited edition poster, I like it a lot. We were pretty close to the stage, right in the middle, maybe three rows of people standing in front of us. While we waited for the show to start at 8:30 I studied for my AP Euro test(which I didn't even take because I stayed home on Friday :-/). Then, the New Pornographers came on and I DANCED MY ASS OFF! It was so great, I liked this performance better than the one at Prospect Park in the summer. After they were done with their set, another band came one and played a song called "It's a Matter of Trust". They had this hilarious middle aged guy dressed up in a preppy sweater and shirt and he was singing their back up vocals and doing this crazy little snap-and-swing-to-and-fro dance. It was adorable! People pushed up closer to the front for Belle and Sebastian so we didn't have as much room to move around for their set. :( But Belle & Sebastian were AMAZING, ahhhhhh! There was this crazy drunk Scottish guy there with his girlfriend and he WAS SO DRUNK. He kept smoking and getting ashes all over people's heads and he waved his hands around as if he was conducting the songs. He knew all the words, and I think he sees Stuart as God or Jesus, or something. He and his girlfriend kept having violent fights and she would storm away, only to push right back up to the front to argue with him again. I COULD NOT STOP LAUGHING. At one point, Stuart jumped off the stage and started crowd surfing and KENDRA AND I TOUCHED HIM, YESSSSSSS! It ended at 12 and we waited in the line for our coats forever and then the 7 was fucked up so I got home after 1 and did not go to school yesterday. Kendra slept over last night and we watched all of the episodes of Project Runway that I had saved on my DVR, so fun.

My computer is broken, as are my iPod and my manual camera. I don't know what to dooooo!
