The Days Are Just Packed
Why don't I ever learn?

*looks at poor, blistered feet*

It's not the high heels that'll kill me, oh no, it's those innocent, one-inch heel almost-slippers that are ruining my feet. I knew there was a reason I didn't wear them for year, but oh, there they were, all pretty and black and (unsurprisingly) almost new, saying "wear me! it's summer! You've abandoned me! Pick me up and put me on your feet!"

Shoes can be so treacherous.

That is exactly what happened to me today. :( And mine were black too.

Oh no, do you think it's nation-wide shoe conspiracy? Or maybe a shoe deomn? Quick, let's call Sam and Dean!

I HATE when that happens :(

*feeling your pain*

Well, at least we know that it's going to be summer soon: there's not summer without blisters on my feet. :-( (but oh, so many pretty summer shoes! I guess I'll have to suffer through the short summer we have here...)

Very true. Thank the gods for Birkenstocks! ;)

I can't wear Birkenstocks (though there are other brands like them that are more suitable for my feet). :-( What I can wear, however, are expensive flipflops, the ones with the really soft leather between the toes, oh, so wonderful, my feet just love them. Only, my employer, not so much.

I find that the more money I spent on shoes the more comfortable they are, it's all in the quality of the leather. But there are always, cute, little, inexpensive summer shoes on offer, the ones you wouldn't want to spend a lot of money on, because summer is so short and you will only get to wear them three times, and I always, ALWAYS fall for them.

The only thing worse than me in a shoe shop is me in a book store.
*sigh*
Sometimes it*s a curse to be a woman with a brain. ;-)

Sorry your employer doesn't see the light on that. I wish that people would be more understanding about the need to be comfortable. Ack.

And your brain is never a curse. Or if it is, only in a good way. ;)

Sicne I walk to work, I could probably wear Birkenstocks on the way there, only it rains a lot, so instead I wear a Jack Wolfskin Trekking shoe, which is just as comfortable. So I usually wear other shoes only in the office. If I would learn how to resist the calls of prettiness in the morning, my feet would be fine. But I figure, it's better than being tempted by otehr pretty things, like SPN, and watching two eps of that before breakfast, because at least the uncomfortable shoes got me to work on time. ;-)

Think of the pretty painful shoe as a Goa'uld with an especially lovely host?

Heh. *blushes*
You know, I can't remember what shoes they were wearing, but it'd be worth watching "The Devil you know" just for that. Apopis sure had a very...adventurous.. taste in clothing...
(of course, that being one of my favourite eps ever, is always worth rewatching)

Hee!

He sure did. And I may have mentioned that I think Ba'al buys his clothing at Target. ;)
