If you don't like fur (or nudity, or expensive clothes, or very thin models) maybe this isn't the community for you. It's a fashion community. These things exist in fashion. Fighting on a Livejournal community ad nauseum isn't going to change a thing. Argue about it somewhere else. If someone is making personal attacks and being an ass toward you, let me know and I'll tell them to stop being an ass. They'll probably continue to be one but hey that's people for you. If you are posting: the FIRST photo should be NO LARGER than 400 pixels on the LARGEST side. Don't resize with html because this does nothing to stop the slow load time for people with slow connections. I check the actual picture and if it's huge, your entry will be rejected no matter how tiny you make it with html. There should only be ONE picture before the cut. Don't disable or freeze or delete comments. Don't redirect to your own journal or website or fashion blog or your Hulk Hogan fansite. Just post the nice pictures and take a momentary break from relentless self-promotion. Posting as much information about the pictures (model(s), photographer(s), year, publication, etc) is always appreciated. The size restriction for the first photo does not mean the pictures BEHIND the cut have to be small. The bigger the better, just put them behind a cut. If something looks too catalogue-y or cookie-cutter or not actually fashion, it won't get approved. Same with one or two random pictures. Same with runway, because, gorgeous though it may be, this is not a runway community. Same times a billion with relentless attempts to post horrendous amateur work that I can spot from a mile away and could really stand to have a break from seeing. All rules apply to all members and your extreme specialness in the eyes of yourself or your friends or your grandma does not mean you get to do whatever you want because you're you. If anything about the rules or my method of moderation or the community in general is just more than you can bear, please feel free to start your own community with your own rules where people will inevitably not like your rules and will proceed to tell you just how much they don't like them because they have nothing better to do and they think freedom of speech extends to individually maintained internet blogs and forums. And then you'll know why I told you to go start your own in the first place. Okay? Okay. Thank you.

Okay, so tomorrow Valerie's going to LA with Tyreen to look at homes and stuff. It's all so surreal that they're moving away.. Admittedly and obviously I'm gonna be sad (since it seems so unreal still) that my sister's leaving, but I guess it'd inevitably and actually help her and I grow up a little more.
