You know you went to UWS when:

-You couldn't understand a word your lecturer said
-Your first lecture was so full you had to sit in the floor
-Every lecture thereafter was empty
-Your lecturers told you to take a good look at the two people sitting next to you - because only 1 of you would pass the subject
- And they were right
-The tutorials were full before you knew it was time to enrol
-Your subject coordinators had more time off than YOU did
- You weren't aware that there WAS a library
-The computers on campus are considered high-tech if they have a cd-rom drive
-You considered any assessment due date negotiable because of extensions granted due to reoccuring campus blackouts
- The bar was just a rumour because it was so far away
-The gym was about as big as your toilet and contained about as much equipment
- Eating at the cafeteria was considered courageous
-The Student Association spent all your fees on mobile phones and new wardrobes for themselves
- You could turn up to exams an hour late because usually the exam papers hadn't arrived yet
- Graduation was not an automatic process
- You had to warn the Admin staff that you were ready to leave
- You felt compelled to warn prospective students on open day to think it over
- You only found out the definition of "work experience" when you were told numerous times by employers that you didn't have any
- As a graduate, you are working at McDonalds while you decide what to do with your life
-You laugh at the fact you have a HECS debt because you will never earn enough money at Macca's to qualify to start paying it off
- You think amalgamation is a dirty word
- People laugh when you tell them which uni you went to

i am planning to go snowboarding this sunday, ive borrowed all the gear and stuff, ive never done it before so i think i might get a lesson first, im looking forward to it, hope i dont break any limbs!! also someones offered to give me some driving practice ( they drive on the other side of the road here) so it will be a bit strange but hopefully, if i pick it up quick enough i will be able to move around more, its started to warm up a little, it was only -15C today, i am currently watching peter pan in my little cabin =), bye for now_

so i am finally here,

i am in a little cabin type house in fairbanks, alaska,

it was -4C today, the sun went down around 4pm,

we have been snowed in for two days, the roads r blocked,

i havnt been able to do much yet, tomorrow i am going to an icehockey game,

sounds fun, also gonnacheck out the local supermarket and laugh at all their weird food,

photos to come, i havent been able to resize em yet, no photo program on this pc =(

ohwell, sorry its not more excitin but thats it for now, cya =)

photobucket equals blah, bare with me while i sort that all out or get another account, uni yesterday, last assessment Ever! very sweet! funnily enough didnt even have my finished portfolio to show him, only proofs, and more surprisingly he was ok with that, so good, i pick up my prints on wednesday, then gotta find somewhere affordable to make em all pretty like, fine art gradshow last night at uws, some pretty impressive stuff there, also a few crap ones, but overall an interesting and quality show =) my grad show is slowly coming together, i got a few invites to hand out yesterday but again no pics for now =( details = 'the gallery' at fox studios, dec 3, 7pm if anyones interested =) theres just over 20 of us with all very very different work, anyways, enough of text post_

been busy the last few days, all is well, paid half my os stuff today, povo status is kickin in, seven weeks now, bought some rad book binding material today, will work on my portfolio logbook tomoro, cut my hair today, need to go to randwick tomoro, gross, two unknown bruises, friday = last day at uni ever! my prints for assessment wont be finished in time so im hoping my teach is in a "i couldnt give a stuff" mood, did a paid shoot last fri at the beach for a couple, hope they turn out okies, hmm, blah, more later

jus got back from a week of hols, hols = fun and lots of dumb girly in jokes, lovely, pics to come - maybe, just got a warning about my photobucket account, not enough space, boohoo blah, so ive deleted heaps, so old stuff will = red xs, if someone can recommend another good image host that would be tops,i dont like deleting, got a new mouse, and its been going mental today, classes for uni are over, did i mention that already? well they r, no more classes and only two more assessments to finish and hand in, 9weeks to go and counting, booked the last of our shiznit, so soon, but lovely, but not, but lovely, meh, "THANKYOU CHAMP" made my day, goodnight

this plate was one of many for my major project for print making, it struck me as very robbie after i had used the red ink,my assessment yesterday went well, my tourism assessment on the other hand very blah, finished my report this morning, its due in one hour, 3700 words, nice effort i think for doing it the day before/of while being half asleep, cant guarantee its not full of trash tho, oh well, so today is offcially my last day of uni THANK GOD! i will be so glad when its all over, only two assessment days after todays class, then gradshow, then yay =)
