I make just one lousy joking reference to the movie "The Ten Commandments", and what happens? Charlton Heston dies later on the same day. The odds of causation are practically zero, but the correlation is creepy.

*googles* Darn it, Bush didn't star in any movies. There goes that plan.

Yeah, it's on the front page here in Edmonton this morning, and I thought to myself, "hey, when was the last time I thought of that movie before [info]merle_ mentioned it?"

I will have to start thinking about this power of yours. It's a bit unnerving.

Rest assured, I shall never mention that movie. Not just because of the slight chance of causation, but because it deserves to be wiped from the archives of history.

Hmm. If the power exists, then I can't mention movies that I like for fear that someone will die. Then again, if all I do is write scathingly caustic reviews of every single movie, newspapers will probably snatch me up and make me a film critic...

Good grief. He named his dog after a dancing purple dinosaur?

I.. I.. I'm not sure I can bring myself to say anything about that movie, even to save democracy. I would actually have to watch part of it. He may condone waterboarding, but there are some lines nobody can cross.

Yeah, just try proving that, copper! I have an airtight alibi. I was.. uhm.. at home all day.

Besides, anyone who can defeat talking gorillas can take me out trivially. That will be the backbone of my defense.
