My pop pop is dying. He's been in the hospital for about a week now, and just keeps getting worse :( His body is basically shutting down. He wont eat, wont open his eyes, wont talk, his hands have turned blue...The doctor called my mom this morning and told her he doesnt think he will last another week :( My mom and brother Tyler are going to Pennsylvania tomorrow afternoon to see him. I hope he can make it until my mom can say good bye. On the other hand I hope he doesnt have to suffer much longer. He's miserable..he just wants to go...go be with his wife, my nanny. (she passed away a long time ago and he has always just wanted to go be with her) Life can be so depressing. I am so glad I got the chance to visit him over the summer. I had a gut feeling that if I didnt go I would really regret it. Every time someone close to me is dying my Pappy ( my dads dad who also passed several years ago) comes to me in my dreams, he always says to me in the dream "everything will be ok sis" ( he called me sis when he was alive) Last week I had a dream that pappy and I were in a big beautiful house that over looked a huge lake with big green trees. In my dream I was staying with him in this house. I had woken up early to spend time with him. We sat on this beautiful deck looking out at the lake...he turned to me and said " everything will be ok sis" and that is the only words I remember in the dream...sure enough a day after the dream is when my pop pop really started to go down hill. I havent told my mom this..i figure it would be too much to share that with her now.
I am really sad that Isabelle will probably not have many memories of Pop pop when she gets older :( I think I am going to make a picture frame for her, full of pictures of the 2 of them and hang it in her room, and always talk to her about the pictures, and what they would do when we went to visit and the toys they would play with, etc...that way maybe it will all stay in her memory. Death is so hard to deal with.
This has felt like the longest day ever! With the time change and all that has happened today I just wish the day would end so I can go to bed. Soon! very soon!
On another note, my mom went for a follow up with her doctor today. Now that she has been sober (which I am so proud of her) her lab work is back down to normal! She's no longer yellow, she's lost about 15 pounds, she really looks great! The reason my brother Tyler is going with her to PA is she does not trust herself not drink if she goes alone and with the circumstances.
Just had to get that all out. I don't write her much. Hopefully the next time I write, it wont be so sad.

Went through a couple of boxes of my "skinny" clothes on Friday. Mostly sizes 16, 15 and 14. Pulled out a couple pairs of things that are 16, and w00t, they fit! I am so happy to be wearing a pair of 16 jean capri's right now! They are stretchy mind you..but they are still size 16 and still came out of my skinny clothes box!! woo! My goal..to lose 25ish more pounds..I have already lost 24. I want to be able to wear the rest of my skinny clothes by winter, (most of the stuff in the box is cute sweaters and pants) :)

My brother got his first job about 2 months ago...all into it, would work overtime, etc. Come to find out...it was a SCAM company, and it got busted!
My dads friend called my dad last night and said uhh, I think I just saw your son on ABC worldwide news :P

Can someone explain to me why the airlines charge $250 Round trip for a small dog to travel in cabin under a seat?! When it even counts as the passengers carry on!!! Shit for $6 more I can buy him his own damn seat!

So i got a letter in the mail today from Picture People..That is where I take Isabelle to get her pictures taken. The letter was informing me that a bunch of pictures got deleted off their servers, and while most of them were backed up...some of the back up files were also deleted and lost. So the pictures I had taken of Isabelle in December are now gone. So if I wanted to have any reprint done..i couldn't. Well duh, it's not like I was planning on having her Christmas pictures reprinted at any time..so I didn't really care. So i read on..Because my pictures were lost they are giving me a complementary year member ship to their photo club..AND a $150 gift card!!!! That is is so awesome! I'm so excited! With money being as tight as it is, its nice to know I have $150 that I can use to get more pictures done of Isabelle...and I have a year to use the gift card! :)

Then, I read today about the new second mortgage plan that Obama launched..Yep I have a second mortgage too..I have debt coming out my ears! :P So hopefully that means I can get my second modified too. Hooray for life finally looking up.

Also, my mom decided she wants to go to rehab..so yesterday my dad takes her..come to find out her insurance does not cover ANY inpatient rehab, and they sent her away!! *sigh* we finally get this far, and she actually WANTS help..only to get told no. Her insurance will cover outpatient care though if she gets a doctors referral. So she is going to try that. I really hope that FINALLY we are making progress with her, and that she is serious about getting the help she needs.

I am so looking to a relaxing weekend! So happy tomorrow is friday! :) Wednesday we are going to Disneyland for out 3 year wedding anniversary :) We figure we don't spend any $ at Disneyland,(we pack a lunch, drinks and snacks & bring it into the park) and we have annual passes..so why not! If we stayed home, we'd probably end up spending money :P

Thats pretty much it. wow, I haven't sat down in forever to write an update like this.

I just got a call from Wachcovia..I have been approved for mortgage assistance! Which means..
(THANK YOU OBAMA!)

They are lowering my loan balance by 20% Approx $72,800
I will be in a 2 yr fixed rate of 4.5% over 7 years it will gradually go up after the 2 yrs capping off at a 6.5% rate.
It is a 40 yr term loan...

I do not know what my monthly payments are yet.
They are forgiving me for the 4 months we have not paid them.
My payment should aprox be $1275/month which is awesome compared to the $2100/month

They are sending me paper work to sign over night!

Yay! Not making my mortgage payment turned out to be one of the best things I ever done :P I get to keep my house, and I have an affordable payment!! :)

Isabelle has conjunctivitis.. *shrug* Shes on drops..The 1st dose was super easy, cuz she had no idea what I was doing..now every dose after is a struggle. Not fun putting drops in a 2 year olds eye 6 times a day for 2 days then 4 times a day for 5 days! :P But after just one dose her eye already looks so much better!!!

Here's a couple pictures of Isabelle. She discovered the drinking fountain at Urgent Care..Kept her occupied for a while :P

Rocky's eye already look a lot better too! he also is getting eye meds 6 times a day!

Isabelle had a little bit of a gooey eye yesterday..we figured it was what Gabe had and his eye is totally cleared up now..but hers seems to be getting worse :( She also grabbed her eye this am and said boo boo, boo boo..So I know it must hurt..Gabes eye didnt hurt at all. So after breakfast off to urgent care we go.

I took Rocky to the vet yesterday for his eyes..turns out he has protein in both of his eyes. Hopefully it's just from an infection and the medication will clear it up..if not I have to run more tests on him and take him to an ophthalmologist... all I can see is $$$$$$$$$$$ *sigh* Poor rocky..as if he isnt pathetic enough at only 3 pounds he now has squinty eyes to go with it. When the vet was looking at his teeth yesterday part of his tooth chipped off!! (he's always had REALLY bad teeth) and now that tooth is super lose and I can tell it's driving him nuts.

When it rains, it pours. I so need to go get a job at another vet office! My animals are killing me with their medical bills!

I hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday!! I'm not happy about the fact we have lost an hour. Why dont we just leave the dang clocks alone?!

Isabelle had her 2 year old check up today. She's doing good :)
Her height is 35 inches
Her weight is 29lbs.
She's in the 80th percentile for both.
No shots today! hooray! She'll get a shot next year when she's 3 :)

So we met with a real estate agent today. He was very nice and provided us with some hope. Long story short the bank I have my home loan with raised our min. payment in January by $200...we got a notice in the mail this weekend that they are raising it another $400 per month because we are behind on our property taxes..well guess what, like pretty much the rest of the world we do not have an extra $600 laying around every month! Gabes pay has been cut due to the economy, my pay has been cut due to the economy..we are drowning in debt with no hope of getting out! So we are not going to be making any more mortgage payments. The bank will not except anything other than the min. payment..we do not make enough of money to cover the min. payment. The real estate agent we met with today is going to list our property as a short sale. (get the bank to agree to sell it for less than what is owed on it) Yes my credit is going to go to shit now, but honestly thats the only thing at stake. and I really think it;s my best option. I could be renting a HOUSE with a YARD that has more bedrooms for LESS than what I am paying now for my tiny 2 bedroom condo. So i'm not sure how much longer we have in this place, but im thinking at least 6 months, probably more. That gives us a lot of time to save up money and pay off other debts, and look for a house to rent that we can afford! In a way I am upset about this...we watched this condo get built from the ground up, we came every weekend and took pictures of the progress, even wrote our names on the beams in the kitchen before they put up the walls, but this is what is best. On the other hand I feel such relief! We have been stressed for so long about money and paying this mortgage..that now I feel like I can just concentrate on paying off all my other debt. One good thing is that Gabe is not on this loan. His credit will not be affected at all. So if 5 years down the road we want to buy again...we have his credit to work with. I have my health, my family is healthy, and love. honestly that is all i need right now.
Anywho, I just needed to get this out.
