Aaah, weekends.
Friday, as I sat bored at work, I got a call from my hubby telling me he'd gotten this great new job working Unix tech support. Just the training pays $16/hour. You rule, babe. :D We celebrated with dinner at Dunn's (where, I swear, we go way too often. Our waitress already knew our drink orders and our pickles. O_o) and shopping at Rideau center where Ian came home with a shiny new cellphone and we both bought CDs, me some Japanese music and the hubby a nice bagpipe album.
Which lead to Saturday.
Otherwise a normal day, where we went out for breakfast at Cora's, stopped by Book Market, had kinky sex all afternoon, then randomly, while listening to Ian's bagpipe CD, we began to wonder how much a nice set of bagpipes cost. A few thousand, we wondered? We decided to check out eBay and there it was, an auction ending in seventeen minutes, for a lovely set of highland bagpipes. With two hundred dollars at our disposal and every shred of "near-ending auction watch" talent I have, we got the suckers. Woot! :D Anyone up for jamming?
Of course, the evening was concluded with some lebanese take-out. Had to mention that.
And now, all I have left to complete the validation of my existence is to find those damn bitch boots I've been looking for. It's been, what, months? Turns out they are a fall seasonal item, but no store has the exact pair I'm looking for. Black, knee-length, lace-up. Is that too much to ask?
In work news, I've been transfered from Villa Vista apartments to Windsor Park. Same job, more apartments, even deader location. My boss is the awesomest, though. She basically told me, "You're going to be bored out of your mind. Here's a newspaper and a drink. Make yourself comfortable." Finally, I've found my true calling in life. ^_^
