Assorted Thoughts

It's been a funny week. I went to the IR protest in Elder Park on Tuesday morning, which was rad, only to be poisoned by sour milk in the coffee that I had afterwards. Serves me right for drinking coffee from a uni outlet.

I get to wear a large brown kangaroo tail at Australian Geographic and blow balloons for the kiddies. Awesome job.

Speaking of awesome, I also saw Timmy's KFC ad for the first time today. What a fine lookin' dude.

Last night's soccer match was pretty amazing too - I always thought Australia would never get close to the World Cup, but this is a very cool thing. I watched the tail end of the match with Moermsy, jumping up and down, deliriously hugging each after the shoot out. I think I want to have Schwarzer's babies. Anyway, I decided to head to Rundle St with some of my uni mates, which ended in marching up and down the strip chanting stuff and generally being loutish and rowdy. Lots of fun.

And it's likely that I'll be in Germany next year around World Cup time. Hmmm...

Cadence finishes exams today. Very happy about being able to hang out with her more now that they're all over. She's so very sweet.
