MARLENE BRIANNA McKINNON
Background:
-Half-blooded witch (pureblood father, Muggle-born mother)
-Irish
-Was born and raised in Kenmare, County Kerry, Ireland. She lived there (mainly amongst Muggles) until she graduated from Hogwarts.
-Lives in London now, to be close to her workplace.
What is known about Marlene from HP canon:
-She was a member of the original Order of the Phoenix (in the 1970's). OotP Ch.9
-She appears in Moody's photo of the original Order of the Phoenix, and her murder took place two weeks after the photo was taken. OotP Ch.9
-She was amongst the "best witches and wizards of the age," (along with the Prewetts and the Bones) according to Hagrid. SS Ch.4
-She, along with her entire family, was killed by Death Eaters (including a man named Travers, according to Igor Karkaroff's testimony) GoF Ch.30
-Died somewhere between 1978 and 1981.
How I have filled in the blanks:
-Attended Hogwarts from 1968-1975.
-Was sorted into Gryffindor House.
-Was friends with Gideon & Fabian Prewett, Caradoc Dearborn, and Lily Potter, and knew the Weasleys, the Marauders, and all the original Order members quite well.
-Is a half-blooded witch (her mother was Muggle-born).
-Was a healer (or at least a trainee-healer) at St. Mungo's.
-On a fateful evening in June 1980, Marlene was visiting her family (mother, father, brother Will, 15, and sister Anne, 11) at home when a group of Death Eaters broke into the house and attacked. They used the Cruciatus Curse on Marlene, and forced her to watch as her family was tortured and killed.
-Died in 1980, at age 23.
