So the sore throat thing went away, but now I got a sore stomach. From Monday through today, I've had severe stomach pains. Tuesday night/Wednesday morning was the worst. You know that tale about the Spartan boy who stole a fox, keeping it under his clothes? He showed no emotion like he was trained even though the fox chewed at his stomach till he died. I felt like I had that fox.

Saturday morning I have to go for an ultrasound, since the doctor thinks it might be gallstones... I hope not, since my mom says you have to get surgery for those.

gallstones can be harsh, my dad had gallstones. Luckily tech has come a long way, where they had to flay him open (and left a sizable scar) over 20 years ago, now they just put 3 tiny holes somewhere low on your stomach, barely noticable, to get it out.

From my dad having them and talking about it (as he had them when i was really young), he says it was easy to tell that he had them because he would get pains from his stomach and that pain would radiate out all the way up his back and down again, kind of like a tremor, every time he ate something fatning it would happen. Chocolate was the worst to eat, and would nearly bend him backwards.
