This whole Christian Bale debacle was making me crazy all day (and yesterday) :( It's been so awful, and I feel so bad for him. He's famously private and never tries to be in the spotlight. And now something bad happens and the media is being so horrible about it. All of the sudden there's all these blown up stories and shit. idc how dumb it sounds, but this whole thing is making my stomach hurt. And I already had a bad stomach! D:

Maybe it's just ONTD's ridiculous reaction to it with the immediate backlash and bandwagonning, but either way it's still bad and I feel awful for him. And there's so much false information and slanderous/sensationalist headlines and I really hope this doesn't follow him around forever.

I believe in Senor Bale!

OMG The Dark Knight is fucking AMAZING

omg omgomg you guys, I can't even explain how amazing it is right now. It was just absolutely superb! Everything I wanted and more! (almost, CBale didn't get nearly naked enough) But it definitely lived up to the hype.

Seriously, it's so good, I would even pay to see this in theatres more than once (and if you've read my previous entries you would know this is not something I do very often). The IMAX really really added to it, but it would be just as awesome anywhere

So after I had my first final today at 7:30 AM on a SATURDAY MORNING I tried to exchange my books and they wouldn't so I had this whole "Fuck Anthropology" rant in my head the entire walk home, but then I turned on the tv and The Prestige* was on so now I have nothing to say except: I love you Senor Bale!!!

Heath Ledger Died Today

I'm not really a fan of his, but I honestly feel like crying (and I might be a little bit.) This is just out of nowhere, and for someone with such a huge and promising career :( He's even The Joker! How could this happen?! And his poor little girl D:

I keep thinking this is some sick joke or horrible mix up and he's actually fine and alive somewhere. And I desperately want this to be a publicity stunt/faking his death/something that ends in him being alive.

I don't know why this is affecting me so much but I am honestly saddened about this. My heart goes out to his family.

All of sudden it started happening and I was writing songs and I was getting this pleasure. It took a long time for me to convince myself that "you know what – you should probably try to do something with this." Not because I thought I was good at all. I kind of grew up not thinking I could do anything I wanted; I kind of felt those ambitions were for other people. I would have to get a job; I would have to do this and this. Which I obviously did for many years – I did work.

It took me a long time to convince myself that I had something to say, and that I should try to put my energy into this. It took me a long time to believe in myself. But ultimately what convinced me was the feeling I would get from writing songs; it wasn’t my ability.
