[Saturday, December 29th, 2001]
last night is lasting forever.
why do all of these winter nights smell like your jacket?
why do these suspecting stars autograph your bracelet studs?
clashing thoughts inside myself.
ignore me.
please dont do this again *****. please just keep your mouth shut.
please let it out. just proclaim your love.
choose.
i want to tell you the whole story.
why i am the way i am.
and why i keep painting these facades on my heart.
maybe i could tell myself in the process.
this isnt poetry.
this is the unpolished product of another night of confusion.

----

Seriously, story of my life.

The only evidence we have that I was actually at Deep Creek Hot Springs are Shane's cell phone photos. That's a pretty common thing for me.

Deep Creek Hot Springs - July 18-20, 2008

We went camping for me and Tim's birthday. It was so good, we didn't want to leave. We hiked and swam all day and we were happy. Oh yeah, and we played horse shoes too. I guess Deep Creek Hot Springs is some sort of nudist hot spot, so that was amusing too.

Some of the photos look funny because one of the rolls of film got sunscreen all over it. There was a time when something like that would have really bothered me, but it doesn't really matter to me now.

A special thank you Jeff Edwards for showing us the way.

Oh yeah.
My digital camera broke a couple weeks ago.
This is always a sad thing for me.
But now it's time for me to find a digital camera I actually like.
And won't give me such trouble.
(I hate wrestling with digital cameras).
All I want it to do is SHOOT! Plain and simple.

Anyone have any recommendations?

life is, well it's pretty okay. family strife aside, things are going pretty swell.
i am busy. i have not found a home for the stray dog yet, but i love him! i named him leroy
i took care of his shots and meds and flea baths. he still has a bit of mange, but not much.
and his scabs are healing. last night he slept in my room on the floor cuddles up with my dog
myles. they love each other! we will keep trying to find him a home, but only after he is more
trained, can walk on a leash, and has more weight on him.... But, the house mates seem to like him
if we dont find him a home, and he can manage to actually not bark at our cat for a minute or two...
then maybe i'll keep him. i know, it is a lot of work, but i am so dedicated to my dog already...
so why not add another one? at least when i start school again they will have each other to play with
so i wont have to worry about serious dog outings as much as i do now with just myles.

love life is interesting right now. lots of options/interests/fun times happening.
i am really excited to go to san fran and see rose. we talk on the phone a few times a week
it shall be a fun time. except he does not agree with drinking or smoking... and i am the worlds
heaviest smoker. i need to cut back so that when i get there i don't feel crazy.

anyway, im going to walk the dogs to the park to watch a free dr dog show. if you dont know who they are, i suggest you YouTube or download some music, they are so sweet.

also, under the cut their are some photos of some recent pierce play. i know it's not for everyone, but dont hate on it. it's about allowing pain and adrenaline to enter your body and using your consciousness to control it and turn it into somthing spiritual or sensual. so the photos are
under the cut. )

JASON LATELY: [10 Aug 2008|05:02am]

lately i've been enjoying some gratifying naked-time. this is something that i haven't gifted myself in the past. i have nearly always displayed some sort of shame in nakedness. but wtf ? that's gay. [lolz.] of course, my naked-time occurs after my parents have turned in: they would feel ashamed to see my naked body. but, as is truth, that shit is all ego. duh. i've begun to pride myself in my body. and this is not to say that i have denied myself any insecurities. we all are quick to point out the insecurities of ourselves. i'm only human. but naked-time [and i applaud parents who applaud their naked children], is a stepping-stone that will benefit me in the future, in some form or another.

--

i just watched the great happiness space online. [you can find it on youtube.] it's about "host boys" who entertain wealthy women in japan. not prostitutes [although sex happens occasionally], they are comparable to a male geisha. their existence, i have deduced, is one of sad happiness. the thing is, they do this for a living. it is their job to live-out the dreams of their customers. some of the customers have turned to prostitution as a result to continue attending host clubs. but i see this as a cycle [good or bad, aside]: the women get money from selling their bodies, and regain [perceived ?] self-respect from being toted on in the host clubs. now, like i said, good or bad is in the eye of the beholder. although some of the women put themselves in the position to sell their bodies, they gain pleasure from paying the host boys for their company. they make their living, and spend their money in the ways that they want to. and i really can't slam that. another thing that is sad is that many of the host boys claim they don't know who they are anymore: they have conflict with truth and lies, and they are distrustful of women. they admit that they are fucked up because they have become numb to women, even though many desire a reciprocal, monogamous relationship some day.

--

the olympics sure are exciting. and this was only the first day. i watched swimming, and congrats to michael phelps ! i also watched men's gymnastics. and shit, isn't the human body [not excluding the human mind] just amazing ? gymnastics demonstrate the grand capacity of the human body. it is just fascinating to watch. and when you link physical achievement with human meaning [i.e. national pride], the impact of these games are just immense.

--

barack obama is vacationing in my small kailua, hawaii, y'all !!!

--

i'm coming around to chelsea lately

i've got a funny-boner for joel mchale

--

i also watched the japanese movie hula girls with my moms. i was interested initially because of the combination of japanese cinema [yosh !] and polynesian dance. now, like any mainstream film, it leaned a little on the corny, everything-in-its-right-place side. my mom, who lives for asian melodrama, cried many a-time. [kawaii, desu ne !] it was based on a true story, and i would have rather it been more realistic, but it was still good.

next on my netflix queue is takashi miike's bang bang love, juvenile a a.k.a. 46-okunen no ko and sally field's norma rae

--

i read an extra-credit article for my cultural anthropology class about globalization and sushi. pimp read.

KEOKI,
CHU

p.s. where is love ? where is affection ? i have a hard time putting myself out there..

p.p.s. where the weed at ? because i would much rather relax with weed than alcohol: alcohol's a [life] destroyer/killer.

p.p.p.s. note to self: i don't keep the promises i make..

Yesterday this amazing dog came into our lives, and he needs a home.
He is an incredibly sweet gentle little guy who we are calling Leroy. He is great around people, and he seems to get along with my dog, and he is seriously in need of some loving. I havn't heard him bark even once. He is mostly house broken, and I will work on that when he comes back to us on Monday.

At the moment he is extremely skinny and not in he best health. A trip to the vet on Monday as well as some flea baths will make his life so much better. At the moment an amazing friend of a friend is taking care of him for the weekend but we will be getting him back next week and will hold onto him for a bit so he can gain weight. For such a thin little guy he is excited and happy. I think he knows he is in a good place, and if I didn't already have a dog I would keep him in a heartbeat!

So please, if you are in need of an amazing dog in your life or know anyone else who is, spread the word. We want a good home for him and refuse to send him to a shelter where his life will be sad and the chances of him being put down are high.

Not sure how old he is, but the vet may have more info on that come monday. He is a mix, some pit, and he has adorable ears that stick up. These photos are not great, but give you a good idea of what he looks like.

My name is Lorenzo, and please contact me at 484 904 8008 or LorenzoBuffa@gmail.com if you are interested or can help. Also if anyone has any information in regards to vets, clinics, etc. let me know. I am taking him in with money from out of my pocket and any way to decrease the cost would be amazing!

one more week of school. i still haven't gone to the beach yet. i still don't have much of a social life [or friends, really, if i were to be completely honest]. a sick joint sounds really nice. i'm eating well and getting spoiled with beautiful weather. i don't know if i want to join a hālau hula or not; i could go to japan next year if i did. i watched this is england today and it was just swell. scrumpy's a little doll-face. high-definition television is super cool. i was naughty and ordered he, purple fashion, & self-service magazines online. i'm getting bored.
