i've really been enjoying my water walking class at the Y
it's amazing to be able to move, under the water, in ways i never could on land
to do a full workout and not only *not* feel inadequate, but feel graceful and delighted in my body
oh man - it's taken me years to remember how much i loved being in the water when i was a kid. |

i'm really enjoying this new space and i appreciate the chance to take cute lil classes without having to attend a high cost convention
(to be clear: i love me some high cost conventions, can you say Black Rose? it's just that i canna afford more than one this year, so i'm grateful for the club)

another great night at the Black Phoenix
i have bruised bite marks all along my arms and across my chest
and, my ass is still sore

had such a loverly time last night!
several cute friends gathered for a trip to the club
i'm very much enjoying this new space and the quite gorgeous mix of people that attend
in addition to participating in the speed-scening event as a top (15 min scene with a rotating selection of tops/bottoms), i had two full scenes - one as a bottom with a friendly stranger and one with a happily strange friend* where top/bottom didn't count for much ~chuckle~
so far, i'm still managing to be chipper and out going, chatting up strangers and asking for scenes. this is pretty impressive, as i've been known to blush furiously when asking long time scene partners to play.
and last night, i even went so far as to negotiate a very different kind of scene (for me, in public). i'd had a loverly night of topping with paddles and then getting my ass spanked by the time my friend and i were both available to play together. i was riding high on endorphins and didn't trust my ability to wield an implement ~grin~
so i offered, basically, a make out session. i really wanted kissing and rubbing and licking and biting and hair pulling and joy. and, that's exactly what i got ~yum~
it was glorious! a perfect end to a wonderful night of play

my car is mildly broken

yesterday, the blower motor on the a/c became sad
300 bucks worth of sad
they've been waiting all day to get the part and care enough to fix it
i mean, yes: it's a transmission and i really do appreciate the free loaner car - so really, taking a day isn't putting me out
i'm just whining about the money for a thing that's sort of a luxury
i drove my mr james to his quarterly doc appt yesterday, with the windows down
not only was it hot, but i still have a headache from all the pollen/dust blowing around
i'm certainly grateful it broke now, rather than on the way up to NoLose next month |

had a very wonderous garick date last night ![[info]](http://p-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) bitmonger's been getting much play lately ~smirkle~ we had very yummy dinner at my local diner i ordered, for the first time, tenderloin tips and portabella which, hot damn, is now my new fav dinner at the diner then we went to buy a basket ball (despite dpfesh's efforts to ponder in what way it would be used during the sexay, it wasn't a kinky purchase) coz, i've been wanting to play again and my lil apt place has a cute new tiny area to play tho, when we came home, real kids were playing, so we didn't get to try it out came upstairs, got nekkid and lolled around on the couch being full of dinner and chatting bout life, the universe and everything (~chuckle~ we really did chat about the universe, actually. i heart my science geek!) eventually, gar could no longer resist my pretty toes! there was much with the kinky sexxors ~bow chicka bow bow~ |

offering a ride from philly i'm very excited about the NoLose conference in sept ~claps~ i'll be driving up from the philly area early on friday afternoon and coming back later in the day on sun i can bring two folks + luggage in my car if you'd like a ride and wouldn't mind helping with gas + navigation, please lemme know i'm also a bit nervous about attending without dpfesh this year. it'd be great to hear from other folks i know who'll be there |

i'ma attempt to read all the Discworld books in publication order, i think - tho i really enjoy the reading order guidesthere's no time frame, but it might be fun to see if i can get it done in a year without making a purchase i had a fun time scouring my bookshelves t'other night and turns out i own 15 of 'em, and have read ~ 4 others borrowed from bitmongerthis seems to be a fairly up to date list - the ones with *'s already exist, if you've got any of the others sitting around that need a new home, i'd be pleased. i'll try to score the balance from paperbackswap ( silly projects ) Current Mood: big ole book nerd |
