New York, New York! [Wed, May 28th, 2008 ~*~ 10:05pm] I'm here... and confused. Oy! I'll update later, but suffice to say, my internship isn't completely satisfying (or even enjoyable, save for the great company of the other girls and free giveaways). [Thu, Apr 17th, 2008 ~*~ 10:56am] Long time, no post. A lot has been going on lately, and I'm getting ready for the busiest, most expen$sive summer ever. I'll be in Asheville next week after finals are over, and then my whole family is coming to town for my May 3rd graduation. I'm definitely moving to New York City this summer to intern at Marie Claire magazine in the fashion department. I'm not sure yet (and I need to decide, like today!) if I'm going back to Asia, like I did this past fall. I'd be going back to all of the same places, on the same ship and everything. I just can't decide! On one hand, I know that I enjoyed it, and I made friends with the captain of the dance team on the ship, who will still be onboard so I can hang out with her. I know the shopping is great. I also know that I missed Alex terribly, the food on the ship sucked, and I got seasick a few times. If I went to Asia, I'd start my internship June 2nd and let it run till the end of August, but if I didn't go to Asia, I'd start May 19th and go until the beginning of August. I'm so uncertain and I hate how I can't make decisions. Basically, I think I'm stressed because if I did go, this is what my schedule would look like: This weekend (18-20): Work 10 hours Friday at Disney, Family comes to town and we go to Disney all day Saturday, Work Sunday at Disney til 3AM!!!! 25-30: Asheville, NC: Alex and I are going to visit his grandparents 1-5: Grad. weekend: all of my family will be here 7 or 8: Fly to Hong Kong 9-23: Asia: Hong Kong, Philippines, Malaysia, Brunei, Singapore, Sanya(China), Vietnam 24th: Home for a week and then... June 2nd: Start internship in NYC I DON'T KNOWWWWWWWWWW I need to go clean my room now. While I'm gone, you guys should give me helpful advice. Thanks! ...Screaming | ...Infidelities

i wish i fit the stereotype [Wed, Aug 1st, 2007 ~*~ 6:48pm] i wish i was a stupid, hot blonde who was an elementary-education major, model tri-delta, and loved pink and sparkles and puppies. yes, some of those last few describe me... and this isn't to make fun of anyone. sometimes, i genuinely wish that i had that type of thing going for me. as annoying as my roommates could sometimes be, or other people like *that,* they almost always had fun. i just feel like i'm too smart, and too far ahead and there's nowhere to go that i'm sure of. i'm treading on shaky ground. ...Screaming | ...Infidelities
