I remember on the news he had this sound bite just before he was going into the hospital for surgery: "If things go well, I'll be out in a couple weeks. If not, I'll be out in an hour."

That is very depressing. Watching "Caddyshack" will never be the same...

I was really hoping he would come out of the coma, the doctors had predicted he would be fine. I suppose they would have to tell the public that regardless.

wow, i am honestly terribly shaken by this news. and the worst part is, i found out by reading your journal the day after. i dont know whether i'm more upset that he's deceased or that i didnt find out for a whole day after it happened.

Don't remidn me. ;-; He did such awesome roles and his expressions were awesome. I'll always remember Rover Dangerfield. That was a great cartoon based on him. ;-; I miss him.

ok mr. dangerfield i hear you died at 86? i beleifve it was.. but i will miss you and you've been highly appreciated throughout my life by others as well as myself.
