last night i went and met up with my friend charlie-o (adam goldstein). he made the video that you can watch if you put the moldy peaches cd in your computer. he is documentary filmmaker and he does amazing stuff. he recently got back from working on a film in peru about these people that rescue endangered wooly monkeys that are being sold in markets. he asked them if i could go visit, and make a video down there. and they said yes! he is going to be there from january until april and he said i could go down for 10 days during that time! soooooooo amazing!!!!!!! look at these miracles...





holding a baby monkey will be a dream come true.

after tea i had my show and david played with me. it was really nice. because it was 11pm on a sunday night it wasn't as crowded as it gets sometimes, which was nice. it was comfortable. everyone had a seat. i met some really nice people. afterwards me and david and camilla and joie and maxx and rooster and osei had tea and some food. then i gave osei a ride to mamaroneck and came home. in the last 5 minutes of my drive vanessa and kelly came on plj back to back. hmmm. plj. jeez. i got home at like 3am. it was nice to hang out. i just had a really nice talk with pablo on IM. we have been very much n'sync with each other lately. very similar experiences. now i am watching mt st helens on the teevee. the wrath of the earth! mama nature has had enough!!! you go girl.

i am going to run away and live with the monkey babies.

does anyone wanna come over and watch the debate with me tomorrow?

if you did make a video, you should have it start by having like 30 baby monkeys just stare at the camera then come running toward it. it would be magical.

in completely irrelevant fashion, if you have some free time [which i doubt you have, but hey!] check out some of my songs on purevolume.

oh my goodness, yellow-tailed woolly monkeys! are they being sold as bushmeat? monkeys break my heart. i was studying primatology in school as part of my physical anthro major and i thought i wanted to be a primatologist for the longest time. (eek, how nerdy!) those pictures you posted have re-sparked my interest and make me want to go to grad. school and do primate field studies. i just busted out my pictorial guide to the living primates. you haaaaaaaaave to go to peru and hang out with them if you can! man, i've got the post college blues. i love monkeys. <3 jenn

I haven't bought tix yet, but C & I are going to be in Peru in mid to late February - hopefully meeting the other family. That is too freaky that you are going, too!

he made the video that you can watch if you put the moldy peaches cd in your computer - Michael pops The Moldy Peaches into his computer. He waits for a while. And then he waits a little bit longer.

'But nothing's happen', he sighs.

Then he takes it out and puts I'm Sorry That Sometimes I'm Mean on instead, because he's in the mood to hear 'Rocks With Holes'.

monkey monkey baby monkey! if i could hold a baby monkey i would be very happy. if i had a baby crow that would follow me to school and come in my classroom and walk around when it got big enough, my life would be complete. i fell in love last night and he wrote me a note on a packet of instant cheese grits. do you like cheese grits? i like you. i think you're neat. you make me happy.
