olympia, washington to roseburg, oregon 291 miles
we left around 1 yesterday and got to roseburg last night. on the way we took a long break somewhere about 30 miles south of portland, and found a playground, and a bookstore, a place to get panda some pants that fit, and place to sit down and have a decent meal.

aside from some treacherous rain, it was a pretty painless first day of tour.

hooray for pants! I hope to catch you in chicag in april, if i can find a babysitter or if the space is baby friendly (can't find any info!1) Anyway best of luck and sickness free fun times!

panda is growing up way too fast! she's hardly a beautiful baby any more, she's a beautiful little girl.

taking breaks on the road to just hang out and explore is definitely the best part of traveling. i hope you have time for more of those; they keep you sane!

first of all i want to say panda is absolutely the most adorable little girl ever and looks so huggable and like the perfect baby. second, i wanted to let you know real fast that the shake-a-leg miami hasn't put out any proper information on your performance (which i planned to drive an hour both ways to come see) and i just wanted to have it cleared up as to how much money it is, the time, and exactly where it's located this is so discouraging and i figured i'd let you know that people are gonna have a super hard time finding it :-(

I played with Ghost Mice last night and Chris was telling me about the Washington show you guys played where everyone was playing board games the whole time! Christ and Hannah are wonderful people.

I'll be seeing you next time in Durham!

so i take back that statement even before you say that haha. because
i just read online that they have this big lawsuit against them saying how it's basically just a vitamin and there is no specific proof that it works and theyve been robbing people of their money. I was trying to be thoughtful, but i should look into my thoughtfulness next time!

but I may or may not meet you when you come to The Norva with Spoonboy.
I'm a friend of his & I offered for you guys to stay at my house if you don't already have a place to stay.He's sposed to talk to you guys about it I believe!
But yeah!He told you about possibley canoing maybe?
