ONE YEAR OLD!!!!!!!!!!!
well, this time last year i had just finished carrying around a mystery creature inside of my body for 40 weeks. after months of anticipation, and a lot of hard work, i squeezed a complete and perfect human out of my vagina. and me and ange met a little animal person more magical than anything we could have ever imagined...our baby panda.
the past 12 months have been ridiculous. ball breakingly hard at times, fun as hell at times, and sickeningly sweet at times. and soooo scary. and sooooo cool.
just when i thought life couldn't possibly get better it did. it got A LOT better. because now i do the same stuff as before but with my little family. in the past year panda has been in 11 countries and 10 states and to countless shows. she has made a lot of friends all over the world. it makes me cry knowing how many people love her and think of her.
and today is her first birthday.
i have been a sentimental mess for the past week.
beth and geraldine and nadine and hukee, if you're reading this know that you have been on my mind today, all the way in the middle of nowhere in the mountains in france. you helped me be strong and birth this baby in a way that made me feel so powerful.
she is one today.
she woke up sweetly....
and we had a party at alex and armelle's place...
their new baby zoe will be one month old tomorrow. seeing how little she is hemps us realize how much panda has grown...
a cool present...
i made a raw, vegan, wheat free, sugar free, chocolate pie...
augustin was there...
and camil and lulu...
beautiful girl...
new dolly...
if we say "no teeth" she does this...
and bubbles...lots of bubbles...
