Hello! I just randomly friended you on livejournal...and myspace...and such. Tomorrow I intend to go out and buy all your albums. With the remainder of my paycheck. But that is not the point -

I actually only 'discovered' you yesterday. I had a really really shitty saturday night, involving self-harm and pity-parties and all that sort of fantastic stuff. I got yelled at, and felt crappy, and listless, and out of place. And whatnot.

Then on sunday a friend and I went out to our local favorite late-night cafe for cherry colas and the best pasta in the universe, and your music was playing. And we said to the waitress "WHO IS THIS!?" and she had to go ask someone else, but eventually they got your name back to us. And we listened. And suddenly everything seemed so much better.

I am not doing so well right now, generally speaking. I guess I don't really have a reason, but there it is. However, i've been listening to your music more or less on a loop since yesterday, and I feel okay. Not earth shatteringly brilliant, or fantastic, but I feel okay. I feel good. I feel like keeping on keeping on.

So thankyou, for that. And if you ever come to Australia, you are very welcome to crash on my couch. And I will take you up on that hug.

Hello Kimya :)

I'm the friend that serraasuka had cherry cola with after our angst party and collections of terrible days under our belts. I wanted to say I'm playing your music too (right now!) and it's full of good.

I second the Kimya-come-to-Australia motion and we can all live in a house and eat noodles and paint each others toes and have hugs and stick polaroids on the walls. Yay!

Sydneys' bedtime is definitely 8:00. I am never, never changing her schedule again, though it was worth the experiment to give us an outcome to all our speculation. Sydneys' bedtime is 8:00.

Kimya, I just want to say that you cheer me up no matter what mood I'm in. Your music is the only stuff that can help me concentrate in my really REALLY long studio classes.

And I was just wanted to let you know that you saved mine and my dear friend lenny's lives.

and if you come to boston you can sleep in my dorm and I will sleep on our rug. it's real comfy!
