thursday was the show on the roof. akida, skyler, ange, panda, and i went.

it was really good. matty, chris, taylor, gina, and dashel are all amazing. i played a few songs and forgot lots of words, but it was fun.

on saturday morning we hung out with our buddies crazy for jane, who were in town from berlin. they are so nice.

then we went to see the trachtenburg family slideshow players. we only saw a few songs but it was really nice to see them. panda did good with her new "earmuffs".

saturday night tina flew in from bedford hills.

she and i have been friends since we were 11. this is us when i was a senior (1990).

on sunday we went out to breakfast, and then we sat by greenlake, then we went to carkeek park, then we went to carly and tony and sydney's house, then we went to a bbq at anna, kari, carlos, sarah, and olimpia's house.

yesterday we went down to olympia and had lunch at saigon rendezvous with matty and hukee. panda loves saigon rendezvous and her uncle hukee.

then ange and matty went a recorded some songs with mike dixon and tina, panda, and i went to hava and tovah's house and played truth or dare with them and a bunch of kids. it was fun. tina had to eat a piece of a rotten apple off the ground that had a maggot on it! gross! then we went out to lacey to visit marco at his new tattoo shop and see irit and lluvia and annabelle. they are such a nice cute family.

now we are back home. tina is leaving tonight. panda will be sad. she loves tina.

i am going to miss her too. she should pack up lee and their 3 kids and move out here. it's not going to happen but it sure would be nice.

panda has appointments the next 2 days and then saturday adam and jeff are coming to town. sunday ange is playing at the mars bar but me and panda can't go.

she's not 21.

she sure is smiley though, huh?

i went to that show, well on September 12th of 2006, i requested "Party Line," that was a great show! and took a polariod picture of him, everyone just stared at me. HA ha

Panda is gorgeous! And you're such a good mommy for getting her earmuffs! I always worry about the babies I see at LOUD shows and what it will do to their little ears.

sooo many cool pictures. i wish i was there at the roof performance. that looked magical. panda is probably the happiest and luckiest person in the world. i wish i looked half as cool as you as a senior (and currently!) my senior persona is laaaame. seniority in high school sucks, but i don't mind because i have your music with me.

the shows on that rooftop are amazing. matty playing in the sunset with the birds going nuts behind him. that was great.
i wish yuppie jerks didn't go to that dog park so much, or there could be more shows there.

to protect her ears from loud noise. they look like headphones without the cable. they cover her ears tight and keep noise out. it is easier than cutting up earplugs and sticking them in her tiny earholes and hoping they don't fall out.

kimya have you ever recognized that panda helds her hand like a dj in that picture with the headphones on? it made me laugh. very good.

I love how much of your life I've gotten to know about since Panda was born. You seem to have great strories to tell.
I love those last pictures of Panda too. She is really find the expressions in her face.

Awesome! I will let her know. All the family is fine, Dottie is great! Liam and I have a new dog now too! His name is Grandpa and he's a papillion, you'd love him sooo much! I am doing just great, I hope I'll be able to see you again someday!

Me and my mum just discovered your music (seperately yet simultaneously) and we both wanted to tell you how happy your songs made us. The first one we heard was i like giants and we loved what you said in it, as well as the song itself. So then I went exploring and found lots more lovely songs, thankyou for contributing to the good in the world!
