the movies just made my day. im on vacation in lansing, michigan for another few hours... and i thought of a silly thing.

every picture i have ever seen drawn to depict patience has been a drawing or photograph of a pregnant woman. that must mean its a pretty fierce test of patience. and you're doing great. and its so exciting and beautiful.

maybe if you go for a float in the lake you'll start labor in the water and then go to water to have the baby and your little fire baby will be forever in love with the sea like you...

i watched the smoothie song while holding my almost 5 month old, who went wild when her papa made her mama smoothies for months and months and months.
my little one was 11 days past her "due" date, hang in there, before you know it your little one will be 5 months old.

I listened to the songs and then I cried. You will be a good mother and you will still be a good songwriter, the focus just shifts. I actually started writing after I had two kids and adopted a five year old, so there you have it. I love the songs and I love that you have that papa to love and to love you and baby.
