to celebrate the 4th of july i stayed on the couch ALL DAY and watched the ENTIRE marathon of PROJECT RUNWAY. at one point a giant wasp flew in the window and was PISSED that it couldn't find it's way out. so i hit it with a book, hard enough to stun it. and threw it out the window. then an eagle was circling outside the window and it started to thunder. why didn't anyone ever tell me this PROJECT RUNWAY business was so tuned in with nature and americanus?

much more interestingly...since it is 4 minutes after midnight...skyler is officially 5!!!

remember when he was a little bitty baby and i would post pictures of him on diaryland? well, now he is a little bitty 5 year old. and he wants a round chocolate cake with white frosting. i got him an inflatable sponge bob that you try to throw inflatable crabby patties into the gaping mouth hole of, and a hippity hop, and a shark t-shirt, and some nemo temporary tattoos. and jennifer hukee is coming over and he LOOOOVES her.
we have our 37 week midwife appointment tomorrow too. we are officially "in dates". the baby can come any day now. or it can come in 5 weeks. our friends, from our childbirth class, johan and jill, called us today. they had their baby the other day. his name is elias pablo.
