after 23 hours of travel time i am in seattle.
i just got a message from sheila, who did the RELIEF THROUGH MUSIC stuff in houston. totally amazing! thanks everyone who sent stuff!

Kimya! Good to see you made it back alright, hope everything went well.
This morning I delivered the final load of boxes. I had been planning with a lady named Holly Hanks at our local Administration building and she told me that she was putting together baskets of gifts for the still-homeless victims in our area for Christmas. She asked me to count every single thing I brought in...the final tally included over 1500 cd's, 400 tapes, 500 brand new t-shirts from Epitaph and 50 or so tape/cd players, 2 boom boxes, assorted books/movies/dvd's, some clothing. These are going to be distributed to 3 middle schools, 2 high schools and 2 9th grade campus'.
I took a picture while we were still unloading all the boxes [srry for the quality, I don't have a digital camera]:
She took down my address in case they received Thank You notes, so when/if I receive any, I'll be sure to take pictures of them or send them to you.
She was very grateful and told me to let everyone know how appreciated this was. She had tears in her eyes. :D
