there is something wrong with my throat. it feels like someone is repeatedly stabbing me with a big knife right where my tongue meets the back of my throat. it is the kind of thing that hurts back there and also in my right ear. it was like that last night. really really uncomfortably painful. i woke up today with a big swollen spot on my neck, next to where the gland is. kinda right by my jaw. it looks like a newborn baby goiter. i took benadryl and if it is not an allergy thing, if it is still there in an hour i will be convinced that i am dying and bum rush the doctors office.
crap, i feel shitty.

oh boy. yup i am sick. i went to the doctor and he said my tonsils are really swollen and i might have strep throat. no fever though. he did a throat culture and they will call me when they have the results. i just had some soup and crackers for lunch and now my throat is like twice as swollen and it hurts so bad, and now i have a fever. 100.1 fahrenheit. i am going to sleep.

so, the doctor isn't sure what is wrong with me but he prescribed antibiotics just in case. i hope it's not a double ear infection that will end up 100 times worse when i fly to portland tomorrow. alicia and nick's wedding is saturday. on friday morning i am recording more at jake's. i need to figure out what to do about my cute little motor home. and i fly back tuesday. it sure would be nice if i didn't feel like absolute poop.
