wooooooooooooooweeeeeeeeee! i got asked to paint a christmas picture for the cover of the stranger! that is like seattle's village voice. i am so excited! all i know is there will be a lot of teeth involved.
oh and...you think that picture of me and skyler is nice? maybe some of you remember the first pic i posted of he and i on diaryland. some of you have watched him grow up. known all his drama and all his fun. awwwww. i am an auntie. auntie chic isn't too different from substitute teacher chic. breezing in and out in knee socks. full of wacky surprises.

3:27p - million entry day...
every once in awhile i write about how cool my aunt patrice is. i think now is the time to do that again. she is disabled but she does more things than most people i know. since i was little she has done gymnastics, horseback riding, and skiing in the special olympics. she is also a crossing guard. and she has a cable access show called "the trish show" (trish is her nickname), that is all about overcoming challenges. on one episode she takes a flying lesson. one episode is her at sleepaway camp where the kids tell her new things to try. she climbs a rock wall, does some trampoline stunts, and goes down a zip line. there is an episode where she goes to the park and tries skateboarding, riding a scooter, riding a unicyle, and some other stuff. she falls on her butt a lot in that episode. and an episode called trish goes to a rock show. that is where she came to see me and 3rd eye blind at the stone pony and taped the show and got to go on the tourbus and stuff. it's fun. she also made toby goodshank's unicorn costume and adam green's elvis suit. she also did the drawing on the yellow moldy peaches t-shirts. if you like her handiwork you should email her and tell her. i think she would be really happy to hear it... coolcrip@hotmail.com
