the farmhouse show in cleveland, mississippi is at 9pm on monday.
we are about to leave the grace-revell household after a great visit with patsy, grey, and julian. it was nice to have kid time with julian. he is 3 and a half. i was in the birthing room with patsy during her labor but not for the birth. i haven't seen them in a couple of years. it was fun to give piggy back rides and draw elaborate t-shirts with dragon families and swordfights and alligators and "vials of pink" that will turn you into a llama. the show was tiny but nice and it was awesome to see patsy and grey play. will oldham was there for me and david's sets. then we met up with him and some of his friends later at a bar in the french quarter. we all stayed out til 4am. it was real nice. i love the part of new orleans that patsy and grey live in. it is the cutest neighborhood. while we were out i ran into alynda from hot dog is my hero and she told me they broke up. she told me that she met matt rouse at the beet harvest and i said i wished he would call me and then out of nowhere today he did. our wayward paths aren't crossing anytime soon though. so sad. there have been good adventures every day.
one of these days i swear i will tell you about the road leading up to this point.
