this time of the month
a big red P on my shirt
would warn of my mood
that way my mother
would know i'm not mad at her
i just feel like shit
and maybe i would
be reminded that i should
keep my big mouth shut
i get in a fight
then i get my period
and feel so stupid
after fourteen years
you'd think i'd learn my lesson
and get a damn calendar
