I hate to be condesending (no, I'm thinking that by now I love it...anywhat) but a haiku revolves around nature while a senryu (which has the same syllabic format) is humorous. Just a sprinkle of poetry knowledge from the poetry fairy...guy.


I should really try harder to resist the urge to correct people.

oy. good plan. i agree with your monthly flowtry. perhaps i should try this. its funny tho cuz ive had it twice this last month (cuz of traveling and all) and i could of scored two fancies. but tis ok. hadn't the time or effort to do so. maybe next time i will.

i had to buy one of their t-shirts and finally settled on "monkeys are good people" : everyone loves it even though most of them haven't heard of the comic. sometimes i think their jokes are even better out of context on a tshirt than in the comic - in the actual strip clango seems to be saying that people are degenerate monkeys, but everyone who sees it is just like "yeah, y'know, monkeys ARE good people!"
