i just talked to my mom. so far so good. the pain is starting to come back but at least she made it through the operation okay. phew.

heyheyhey..kimya...i have to ASK YOU A HUGE HUGE HUGE FAVOR...
i'm a gay boy in memphis who makes movies, etc..and this 16yo kid here came out to his parents over a month ago and they put him in this place called "Love in Action", which basically is a fundamentalist christian program that is designed to change the orientation of gay people..and they now have a youth program, and this kids parents sent him there against his will...i met the kid once, and i know alot of his friends cause they make movies and music and i collaborate with them on projects, so we all went out to hold signs to support this kid and protest this place on the kids first day there...
the news showed up, and 7 weeks later, the kid gets out on friday, and we've had 15 protests, and it's a national news story...the poor kid has not been able to have any contact with the outside world, etc....
