the weekend

I had a pretty good weekend. On the way home Friday, I stopped at Best Buy and bought a cd. I also went to Michael's to get part of my sisters' Christmas presants.

In the evening, Alberto and I went and got ice cream. After that we went to Palm Springs to just drive around. I was driving on the main street, and this crazy car tried to make a left turn in front of me across my lane. Luckily I was only going 25 and I was able to step on the brakes fast enough. It was really scary and I started to freak out a little, so Alberto suggested we stop at The Warehouse which led to me getting another cd. That night Olivia came with us to see Harry Potter. There were a lot of people I knew there even though it started at 10:15. Even Jessica was there. I really liked the movie. Jessica and I decided we wanted to be in the movie. It was awesome.

Saturday I went to watch my sisters play in their field show. I like watching the other bands. One did really cool swing music. It was so hot! We left after our band finished because it was crazy sitting in the stands with no shade.

After that, I was pretty much a bum for the rest of the weekend. On my way to Irvine, I realized I had no snacks in my room. I guess I'm gonna have to survive from whatever I get from the dining commons. I figure it will be ok because it is only 3 days until I can go home again.
I finished my chemistry homework as well as my university studies assignment. It was relatively easy. All I have to do now is read Frued. He is just way over my head. In theory, I'm supposed to read 50 more pages by tomorrow morning, but I doubt that will happen...
