Long time no post!

I haven't done a whole lot of exciting stuff, but I'll update on some random bits I can remember.

Andrea came to visit in February, which was super fun. My turn to visit her next, I shall have to sort that out.

I attempted cycling to work last month, but the buses on Market Street scared me silly so I haven't bothered doing it again! Still go out on my bike when it's quiet, but I'm walking to work instead. 4 miles a day, can't be all bad. I've joined a ladies football team. We're godawful, but I have high hopes for next season, haha. Like maybe to limit the number of goals Dons Ladies put past us to less than 10!

Went to Fort William a few weeks back to see Jo run the Lochaber marathon. I was well impressed. Jo is super duper amazing.

I've managed to lose my Paramore ticket (because the pricks rescheduled the gig not once but twice) and all my stuff is scattered between the flat and my mum's house so I've no idea where it is. The gig is on Monday as well so it doesn't look like I'm going. Idiots.

Going to see Fightstar at the skanky Glasgow Garage on May 24th (it's a Saturday, woo!) if anybody fancies joining me. Although I think anybody who is reading this who likes Fightstar is probably already going.

Flat is ace. Most evenings that Fraser (that would be my flatmate, not my ex-boyfriend) and I are actually both in results in copious amounts of Guitar Hero being played. And occasionally much beer/cider being consumed. Super :)

I'm sure I've forgotten lots of stuff, but never mind. Hope you're all keeping well. You can always drop me a line on my gmail account. Username - lucifermotorcade.

Peace out x

This little dudeCollapse ) is going to sit in the back window of my car, when I eventually get around to all that. Hopefully Arsenal are neutral enough around here not to get the windows done in, haha. Hell, the only people around here who support Arsenal are glory hunters with "Fabregas" on their shirts. Thankfully after our dismal last season at Highbury, they all appear to have moved on to Chelsea. Phew!

Oh look, I've gone ranting about footbll again. Tsk tsk.

Fightstar ticket anybody?

EDIT: Oops, never mind, it's gone.

Ryanair's 24p flights are awesome. I'm now provisionally going down to see the Arsenal vs. Sheffield United game in September. I say provisionally because the tickets aren't actually on sale yet and there's no guarantee I'll actually get one, but I can think of a million and one things to do if I should happen to have to spend the day in London myself. £38 return isn't at all bad. Although I should include the £16 train ticket into London and the fiver for a tube ticket, but we'll pretend that those don't exist for now!

Right, to the post office before it closes! Birthday presents to post, innit :P

Oh and small P.S. I've started listening to Papa Roach again for some bizarre reason. If anybody could explain this to me I'd be eternally grateful!

Apologies if this knocks anyone's page out of whack, but I'm not putting it behind a cut because it needs to be seen.

Today is LIVESTRONG day, and while the events are really only taking place in America, it doesn't mean people elsewhere can't show their support. Click the picture.

Arsenal's newest signing, hehe.

Less Than Jake were lots of fun, there was a lack of dancing space mind you. It's funny how skanking generally consists of mutual stepping on feet, haha. I bopped some poor person on the head in an over-enthusiastic moment, haha. It took me all my self-restraint not to dance my way back from the train station last night.

I'm off to get my thesis from the binding place in 20 minutes then once it's handed in it's out my face, hurrah! :D

Hope you all had a lovely Christmas. Mine was a pretty average day, but I saw some people Christmas Eve that I haven't seen in a while and that I should really see more often, so it was good in that respect. Here are some picturesCollapse )

Took my little bro to the Science Centre on Tuesday. While it was fun and I got to be a big kid, I was dog tired by 4pm. 10 year olds are scary...and that was him on his best behaviour as well! Also went to see Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire again because Kyle hadn't seen it. Well, any excuse eh? pics againCollapse )

Yesterday I went out for lunch with all the girls from uni who were home from placement for the holidays. it was really nice to seem them all. Except Jo couldn't make it, which was poo :( but that nice young gentleman friend of hers came and brought her present for the lucky dip and picked one out to take back to her. What a sweetheart. 1, 2, 3...aawwwww. Anyway, it was good fun and as usual the conversation completely degraded into filth. Well, Julie was there, it was bound to happen, haha. Would you like to see Victoria's intricately wrapped kitchen utensilsCollapse )
