1st-Nov-2007 02:33 pm - Hallowe'en!
ISY
Holy shit, holy shit, holy shit shit shit. I had such a fantastic Hallowe'en! I spent the day with M and N, and Boots. N left a while after Boots... But my day started long before that. It was like around Gift Day, when I wake up early from excitement. I woke up at 11 am, got up and bummed around in my pjs for a while, smoking pot with M (now called Boho, as in Bohemian) until she suggested I change into my outfit. My outfit which started out as an Emo Bunny, and ended up The Devil.
Oy.
I will leave the constant costume changes out of here, but I will say my house is the traditional Hallowe'en wreck of candy and mess and costume pieces randomly strewn about. Anywho, Boots arrived and we walked to the mall to visit Ryu at EB Games. That went weirdly, but we got candy, so... Yay!

Jess left, and left me her Doc Marten's, which honestly saved my feet from complete pain, and possible destruction. They took a flying chair for me. I will be forever thankful.

Oh yeah, the show we went to see? FUCKING WHOA MAN. The dude started off in a gas mask and mechanics costume, and ended in a sparkly silver skirt that didn't cover his naked ass and cock, and a broken foot from jumping table to chair to bar to floor and whatnot. He put an ax through a painting and killed two chairs. He pissed in a bottle and dressed it like a baby.
He had a knife taped to his microphone, and went up to people and pressed it in their throats, waved his cock at people, but he left me and Boho alone because we were so in the music... Bo thinks he punishes those who don't let go to the music, and lemmie tell you, I had no control.
None.

The music! The MUSIC! It wrapped me in it's thumping pulsing arms and carried me away. I head-banged, and felt my body in a way I hadn't in a long time. The reverb buzzed through the soles of my boots and up my legs, through my chest and changed the rhythm of my heart.

The second show was pretty kick ass too, but my hearing wasn't the same for it.

I still hear a ringing and my muscles hate me so bad right now, but I couldn't be happier.
