| I have a friend (we'll call him Codina) who has this strange, slightly disturbing habit.
See, he has been doing this for three years. Currently he's using Facebook as his tool, but before it's been various social utilities, ex myspace, livejournal, greatestjournal, xanga, etc...
Basically what he does is poses as a girl (his cousin) and gets guys to start talking to him. Some fall in love, all seem to fall in lust... He cybers with them, talks with them on the phone, sends them pictures (of his cousin), texts them...
Then, when they're involved, in love, in lust, whatever... He reveals he's a boy.
We get a real kick out of his stories at the lunch table, and I'm just wondering if it's really wrong to exploit people's stupidity and internet-foolishness for our own entertainment?
Also, do you think if we did a documentary of this, would it be a successful example of what NOT to do on the internet? |
