Oh man, I totally forgot I christened the lake for the year. Mom and I went to the property on Tuesday and I took a naked dip in 7 degree water.  It was brisk, I'll say that much.

Last night I was talking with a friend of mine and he was telling me a story about his old dog Ralph. Apparently, when he would be in his back yard smoking a dube, Ralph would come over and huff up the smoke, chasing it across the lawn. Also, if he had a beer, he would pour some beer into Ralph's bowl, and they'd share.
I thought it was cute how he called Ralph a 'head (as in pothead)...

Have you noticed how dumbed down children's cartoons are now?

I think I need a social hobby. I've been living on smoke and mirror for the past couple of weeks, and I need to be more social. A knitting class? Bellydancing at the Y? Is that even possible? D&D perhaps?
Boho asked me "What's wrong with me?" Which, if that confuses you, would mean why isn't she enough of a social life, since we are always hanging out.

Sometimes I feel like I'm just made of smoke and mirrors. I mean, you are what you eat.

I'm throwing a small party for myself tomorrow. I know people don't really celebrate their birthdays all the time, but I'll take any cause for celebration really. Did you know I've celebrated April 20th three years running?

I don't care why, let's just get together and party. C'mon, all of you!

My harddrive finally died on me and then Ryu threw it in the snow. Now I have to re-download some music. I know it's a delicate thing to ask, but can some people think of classic albums that they think I should download?

When I am queen I shall declare Sunday the country's day of rest. No one shall work, except doctors and police. Everyone will be on call though.

Things have been going missing in the house for a couple of weeks now. First it was my little tin of weed... Then Ryan's keys to his work... Then my favourite rooster statue (that one makes me REALLY upset, I saved up all summer to buy it)...

I'm locking the fucking door from now on.

I've been thinking about my life lately. Deeply thinking about what I'm going to do with my time, where my money goes and what I eventually want to do for a living, 'cause it sure as hell isn't what I've been doing.
I've been talking about retiring to a llama farm for a while now, and my buddy H suggested I start now. Except I don't want to be tied to location, because I still have the deep desire to travel. I also want to go back to school. I'm turning 20 soon, people my age are already out of college, finished, done-ski. Me? What have I been doing for the past six months? Reading webcomics and smoking pot.
I'm not disparaging this time I've taken... I think it's valuable for my own sanity, to have this time to reflect on my life, but I really do need to go back to school. I'd love to go back for acting, or English or computer studies, but I don't have the grades to do anything like that. I'm floundering and it's really scary. I'm haunted by that question that everyone seems to be haunted by; What do I want to do with my life?

Short answer? Read webcomics and be happy. Is there a job where I can do both?

1. I am deathly afraid of zombies, in that sleep-with-a-crowbar-beside-my-bed-just-in-case kinda way.

2. I don't stir my hot chocolate with a spoon, I have a set of tiny whisks specifically for that task.

3. I have a stupid high tolerance for spicy food.

4. I snort when I laugh a lot. Everyone seems to thinks it's cute, except me.

5. I constantly groom my feet.
