Last week, I posted about how I was amazingly lucky enough to get a Swift Zulian Tiger for my cat-loving Hunter on her first visit to ZG. Thank you to everyone for all the congrats. :) I just wanted to share a couple more screenshots... I forgot to mention that my friend/guildmate, Tiesiez, also has the Swift Razzashi Raptor from a previous trip to ZG. Our tiny guild, which is composed entirely of RL friends (there are about 10 distinct players in our guild, plus many alts), has both of the ZG mounts. I thought that was pretty special, so Tiesiez and I took a trip back to ZG for a little photo opportunity.

Also, Jagwyr dinged 70 yesterday, so this is my celebration for her! :D

I thought you ladies might appreciate hearing a WoW story with a happy ending! (didn't want to post in the worldofwarcraft community too as I just pestered them for moonkin advice)

Anyways, I play a moonkin and I had a very hard time finding a raiding guild.
I had thought I found a keeper until lack of attendance slowed our progression to a halt. I was tired of sitting afk in Shatt waiting for a raid, so I applied around and ended up joining my current guild.

They had been 8/9 Black Temple when their former gm broke down, took down the website and vent server, cleared out the guild bank and left for a further progressed guild on our server with a few of the officers.
Our current gm as well as our officers brought our guild back from the brink of death.
They recruited, regrouped, had a few people switch mains, and spent a few months running SSC/TK to get people gear and get used to everyone's play style (I joined around this time).

Our gm decided we wouldn't go into Hyjal/BT till we could down Vashj and Kael.
After we downed Kael, we pretty much focused on Black Temple and were 7/9 in a week.
Illidari Council was a little tough, but we got them down and had Illidan to 47% on the second night of attempts.
We didn't get to attempt him last week due to server crashes and our gm losing his internet for 2 days.

We went back this week, one shotting most of the bosses, and had all of tonight to work on Illidan.
Oh man, did he go down!
Our tank died at 2%, another tank picked him up and we blew him up!

It was seriously the greatest moment I have experienced in my 3 years of WoW.
My first significant first kill and even better than that, being part of such a great guild that has bounced back better than ever!

forgive me if its been asked before, but I woudl like to hear your educated opinions, ladies and gents.  for hunters, what is a better buff?  kings or might?  in a case where you can only have one of the other?

personaly I think kings, cause to me personaly it adds about 1.5% crit in adition to ap from the increased agility.  the difference in attack power for me is about 50 points between kings and might (I specificaly checked when I managed to get kings)

but the 2 other hunters always ask for might, so I end up with might as well. 

so am I wrong, or do I have grounds to insist on kings instead of might?

I've checked the memories and no one seemed to give an answer as to where one goes to unlock a phone. I see all these places around peel metro that say they unlock iphones, but my phone isn't an iphone. It's a CECT 318 phone, from Asia and it works beautifully except it's not finding any canadian networks. I'm assuming this means it's locked. It's a tri-band phone with the proper GSNM frequencies so that shouldn't be an issue either.

So where do I go to get my phone unlocked? Preferably downtown. Even better if there's a place in Chinatown I can do it, because maybe someone will be able to tell me what the chinese "fine print" says.

OMG!! I got a beta key!!

How long did it take download the client? my computer's saying about 6 hours >_< ....

In any case, I copied my hunter to the PvE server- If the name's not taken, Lougara will be taming a devilsaur and naming him Stompy over there and terrorizing stoof!


Anyone need an exploration buddy? I'm also rolling two death knights- a female draenei and a male blood elf. =)

I was 15.3% away from dinging 70, a couple quests later 10%. Looked on my map and Quest helper said I had SIX quest turn-ins and considering most quests out there drop you 12k exp, I thought I was in like Flint.

WRONG.

Turned the first one in: 1250

Second one: 6540

Third one: 1250

WTH?!?! What the crap are you trying to DO to me?!?!

SO I go and complete a quest that's a little close and think, "ok..I only need 10k, this SHOULD give me 12k...hopefully...doubt it..watch my luck..."

Sure enough, 9k later and i've got 1k left to go. Got some rested XP and think, "there's a flower down there that's about to get slaughtered."

Get down there, get RIGHT where i'm gonna kill him, get ready for print screen....no ding.

I ran the best Steam Vaults ever yesterday. I am a teddy tank in training and I main tanked this one. My group decided to play the part of the pug group from hell! We had a priest and a warlock who were fearing/ screaming everytime I had the mobs nicely agro'd... straight into bunches of other mobs of course. The shaman running up and agro'ing mobs when everyone was still eating and drinking. The hunter merrily redirecting onto the shaman in the middle of healing and laughing as he feigned when we all wiped. I was laughing so hard I could barely manouver through the mobs to gather them back up again. I spent the last part of the instance trying to get the hunter killed. I did it end the end right before the last boss. Cheers all around *evil grin*
Of course the chat on vent was hysterical. The best fun I've ever had in an instance. I LOVE my guild!!!

While changing out my gear for Mother, I discovered that I have been wearing Don Carlos' Famous Hat for the entire evening.

On a good note, we one-shot Reliquary of Souls and Bloodboil and are making good enough progress on trash that we'll likely get to Council. And I'm still maintaining top 3 damage.

But I feel like a nimrod. That's worse than wearing a Riding Crop instead of a proper trinket. That's what I get for turning my hats off.

I'm looking for a mini-putt course that's really awesome... i.e. windmills where you have to get the ball in between the slats while they're turning, holes where you get it in one hole, it goes through a tube and comes out somewhere else, etc.

Anywhere in Montreal or the surrounding area. I'm thinking this may only be found off the island if there are any around.

So I've finally achieved SSC/TK/ZA readiness and am ready to head back to my old guild of jerks. Except I kinda like it here. I was planning on ditching my old guild but since I've joined I've advanced significantly and made friends.

Damnit.

I very much hope that someone would be able to help us with the following, very pressing problem:

My friend and I have a BURNING desire for crumpets, and we can't seem to find them at supermarkets anywhere. Can someone help us...is there anywhere where one can buy a crumpet? Preferably in Mile End or Downtown?

It's been a while since I posted, but I need to vent. Because I'm growing very frustrated with WoW at this point and the only thing that keeps me from quitting all together is my love for my new little 70 lock who I adore.

TL;DR: People screwing things up just when everything starts to go well is really, really frustrating. Especially when they then rub it in your face.

So, Valanei got hacked about... two weeks ago now? My beautiful, freshly 70 enhancement shaman. The very next day after I got made guild officer too! ;___;

But this post isn't about that. At least, not directly.

Rather, for those of you that have suffered a similar calamity, how long does it usually take for Blizzard to restore the character? The last time I got a notification that their investigative team was "working on it" was exactly one week ago- and no word since. Also, does Blizzard have a set schedule on when they restock on Authenticators? I was hoping that it'd be in stock after they finished the inventory check on Tuesday... but no such luck. eBay has two, but they're both more than ten times the store price.

My main is a moonkin and I'm raiding t6 content.
My guild is 8/9 BT and we're hoping Illidan will die this week :)

I do quite well on the damage meters. I'm always in the top 10, usually in the top 5 and was number 3 last night. BUT my dps is usually quite low.

I know things like Rawr and Maxdps aren't entirely accurate, but both say I should be running about 1100 dps, and that rarely ever happens.

During certain fights my dps might be that high, but I usually don't even break 1k.
Looking at the WWS reports from last night (which are a bit screwed up as our Gorefiend kill is missing and it lists a holy priest and resto shaman as having the highest dps), I'm third on damage but with an overall dps of a measly 760 -_-

My usual boss fight rotation is IS/MF/SFx3.
I pot and innervate when needed, my battle rez is always the first to be used and I know this all lowers dps.

My guildies think I'm great and I get invited to every raid I show up to.
I think my dps should be higher, but I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

Is this typical for a moonkin? Or am I just an overachiever who wants higher dps?

Does Esther have to wear that maid uniform everywhere?

I use the pitbull addon, and mostly I'm happy with it and not had any problems. Lately however it seems to just be on my warrior that I keep getting an error message and it doesn't show any buffs/debuffs on people or mobs! I don't normally play my warrior much, but the guild were lacking in tanks for kara so I though as a change I'd take my warrior (been numerous times on moonkin and on holy/disc priest) and it's really rather annoying that I can't see what buffs people have or what debuffs the mobs have, couldn't see if the locks had managed to get cod on curator at the right time, if I have sunders on the mob and how many. Whats more, if I picked up a shackled mob it was still showing the shackle symbol but if I hovered over it saying it was sunder armour:s So, any suggestions as to how to fix this? It only seems to happen on my warrior, which seems a bit strange really.
