That was the most intense experience in my fucking life.


Yesterday I was in a state of bliss/tiredness and I passed out on my bed at 11 last night, since I basically got no sleep the night before and of the concert and having to go to jclass in the morning really didn't help. I did nothing all class. At least it felt like I did, and I was partially deaf in my right ear. XD Hence no concert review yesterday.

To sum it up it was mind-fucking-ly amazing. The crowd was nuts, as they should have been. I agree with others how it was really annoying how people were bitching about the pushing. I got elbowed/punched/kicked etc. the same as everyone else. But oh my god, heaven forbid people MOSH at a METAL SHOW :O? I was third row dead center (and the tallest person in my area ;]) so I had a perfect view of kyo 90% of the time. I had to sacrifice buying merch for my spot, but it was well worth it. I'll post something more thorough later, including A SPECIAL PIC OF A SPECIAL LITTLE SOMETHING. ;DD




Also, on a random note, this journal will now be friends only starting from the next post onwards. I'll be keeping everyone of course, it's just that I'd rather not have creepy people I don't know or those I know irl who apparently stalk my journal reading it. Yep.

'Kay so, I'm not sleeping any more. XD; Woke up at 5:00 yesterday and 4:30 today.


I've got my outfit and makeup together, now I just need to practice doing my hair. x__x I've never used hairspray before, because it's pretty useless on curly hair (gel<3) but now that I flatiron it I'll deffinitely need hairspray.

Anyone have tips for backcombing and the like? I'm such a n00b at this. XD

ARG and now I remembeed that I need some kind of hoodie thing to keep my ears from freezing off because they're exposed now. It feels really weird, my ears aren't used to being cold. I saw the cutest fuzzy cat-eared hoody at online but it was $80. AND IT DIDN'T EVEN HAVE SLEEVES. Wtf. They better let me exchange my pants (I bought a large, turned out it was way too big, and I didn't think then to ask for a smaller size >>;). So i'll be wearing pants with a waist size which can fit an army with my fugly un-jrock belt. Dx

Other than that though, I really love the pants. XD

I was playing around with my hair today and I found out I can fluff my hair really easily. 8D Now all I need to do use my crazy hairspray and I'll have BIG HARR for the concert~

I'm not sure when I should put the dye in...I want it to be vibrant for Friday so I'm trying to put it off, but it's really hard- I keep opening up the hair dye and looking at all the stuff.

Oh, and I don't know why I didn't mention it earlier, but I'll be 18 tomorrow! :] Not that I'm expecting anything though. I'm not sure how I feel about turning 18...on one hand it feels all "Hay look at me, I can do more stuffz now!" [even though I'm not usually involved with anything that needs an age requirement]. On the other, I'll only have one year left to be a "teenager" which is a bit depressing. I guess I do have some form of Peter Pan Syndrome after all.

I have no idea what I'm doing tomorrow...I don't think my dad will want to drive me down town...Kat I'm gonna phone you in a bit [assuming you're still free? o.o].

In other news, things are falling into place- I've had an appointment with the optometrist asnd tried on my contact (and damn, did it look awsome<3) and placed my order, so it should be here around this Thursday for me to pick up. x3 I bought the red hairdye and my mom bought the straightener. It's actually better than I thought because it has an even higher heat setting than the one I use for my bangs, and has "floating plates" so that there are no gaps where you close it. It's fun to use, even though it takes almost an hour for me to straighten my hair well with it at this length. XD But it won't take that long starting Friday~ nyahaha. Basically, I'm asking Lang for this except with my current bangs. Good god, are the model's teeth ever yellow. o_o;

For anyone who missed it, Kelly Osbourne: Turning Japanese is on again tonight at 12am. This show is goddamn hilarious- it followed her as she worked in a maid cafe, trained for and performed a samurai ritual, and worked at a love hotel. XDD

Srsly, even if you dislike Kelly (which I'll admit, after watching this show is pretty hard) you hafta watch it simply for the Japanese perversion factor.

I got my duck todae~ :D

All the bio students have to take care of a newly hatched duckling, and the goal at the end of the week is to demonstrate how imprinting works i.e.- the duck follows you everywhere. x3 I chose to name mine Takumi because I was going over boy names and liked it XD [/creative]. I'm not sure if it's a male or female yet, but Takumi sounded "light" in case it was a girl so it worked. He's really cute and falls asleep a lot when you hold him. Hee.

The worst part is getting around though- he has to be carried around in a large clear plastic bin thing and I need a ride to and from school. So I'm stuck waiting here in the library. Ho hum.

Holy crap, less than a month 'till the concert and I'm freaking out. I may not express my Diru love on eljay all that much but they're deffinately an obsession of mine<3 [Ichi ban suki na bando desu yo. And they will be no matter how non-visual they get or how "American" some fucktards claim they sound]. The FV tour concert was awesome, but I'm looking forward to the larger crowd and what that will be like in the pit. I pray to god I'll be close to the front...I ain't (Oh god, I've never typed that word XD) scared of being squished/no rabid fangirls.

I have no idea what I'm going to wear. o_o I just know I -don't- want to go casual again because I love dressing up dammit *does so almost every public occasion*. I want some of those massive platforms like those amerigoths wear so I can be like "RAWR" and six feet tall. XDD

I've been wanting to dye my hair lately. One thing I've had in mind is to lighten my current dark brown colour to that awesome orange-brown some asians have (kinda like hers. Haha, Putumayo love. x]) but I'm not sure if it'll look good on me. XD Either that or only lighten my bangs at the front -or- use that streak kit for dark hair (L'oreal, I think it was?) in red on my bangs.

I took scissors to my bangs today- not drastically different, but I like it. Lang and myself are the only people I trust with my bangs.

I also feel like writing horribly angsty AFI Javey<3 fanfiction! Wtf XD

So I figured I should a attempt a real update, seeing as how I forget when the last time I posted one was.

On Tuesday our art class went "gallery hopping". It was pretty fun, but very freezing and I seem to have caught a cold ^^; *gets cold easily*. The best part in my opinion was the glass gallery, which was apparently the largest in Ontario- it had the most beautiful glass sculpture I had ever seen. A lot of the other galleries we went to were very creative as well, some of the artists have such a distinct personal style it makes me feel incredibly unoriginal. I've yet to develop a "signature" style for my art because I don't draw on an even weekly basis. It was amusing how our art teacher actually had the nerve to call some of the art "crap" when he was clearly jealous that their work actually made it into the galleries. He's probably the most egotistical person I know, but he is pretty intelligent. Still, it gets old fast. I responded with an "O RLY?" to his "crap" statement and he seemed embarrassed. XD

It was fun when we had our break to go roam around Toronto...Kat, Chantelle and I walked through China Town and rushed into a DVD store were I purchased Gohatto, as I already mentioned (there was buttsecks, but the other guy was hideous, and Kano was like ":/" the entire time). After that, I dragged them to the Chinatown Centre with me, and I located KiKiWai (after stalking a certain bishounen XD;). It's sad to say, but the Markham KiKiWai pwnz that one x100. After we got the most amazing and filling pizza in the world, met up at OCAD and jumped on the bus. I must say I've never had a more fun bus ride and that Joe is certifyably insane (in the awesome way.)

Today I watched The Doll Master, it was alright. The BJDs were gorgeous, but the end dragged out a bit near the end. Korean sounds like a hard language to learn compared to Japanese. o_o I want to learn it anyway though~ >:O
