I miss my babies.

I got cut early and went to Alex/Kealie's REALLY fun birthday party. I had a blast. I danced, and I also played interior crocodile alligator for them. Shit dude. But then I went home and threw up. :(

Today I'm going to labor day sales in search of cheap tank tops. Which are, evidentally, all I ever wear.

I keep trying to update my address, phone number and e-mail, but the system never saves any of my changes. I tried to update these things the moment the housing office asked me to do so, but I got a warning letter the other day which said that I hadn't. When I logged into the system to try to fix that, surprise, nothing had changed. The system says that it takes one business day to make changes, but I don't think it's ever worked for me, because it's still storing the address that I had before I transferred here.

If I call housing, will I actually get someone on the phone who will help me? I don't think I can appear in person to fix this, because the deadline is Tuesday at 5:00pm and I have class in the morning and work all day right after that.

And I have made up my mind: I am going to get a cat sooner than planned. I just can't wait. I don't care if it's a pain in the ass to move the cat when we move to wherever. I don't care that I'm technically not allowed to have a cat. I'm gonna go to Petsmart and buy one of those ones who have already been housebroken/given shots. Hopefully Sean will support me in this because I need something to love. I told him of this plan and received no protest on his part, so maybe this will be a success.

I'm serious, I need a kitty.

First game = tomorrow. I have to work at 12, presumptively off at 4. Hope I can make it before the ball is kicked. I'm excited as fuck. I have to leave all my belongings at work. I don't want them in the stadium. I am entirely too drunk for having had just one pint.

Medieval lit = far fewer stereotypical tories than I'd expected. Teacher is batshit, but in a loveable way. No books for this class- that has its ups and downs. LIKE ME GOD I'M WITTY.

Medieval political theory = very, very complicated, albeit (fuck that word) understandable. Makes me think hard. Too hot in the classroom. I had a mini panic attack in that crowded, hot room, which was exhillirating to say the least.

Gregor's Fascism class = OBVIOUSLY awesome. Brett and Missy are in that class: Missy was slightly scared of Gregor and Brett was more thrilled than anyone I'd ever seen emerging from a sweaty auditorium. Can't wait.

I'm secretly excited to learn about Christina of Markyate. Doesn't that totally look like Mary-Kate (Olsen)??? I'll picture her looking like one of the Olsen children when I learn about her. She probably did look like them - all emaciated/death-like. She was an anchoress.

I also plan to pretend my Medieval lit class is about Iceland.
