i like getting mail. a lot.
i don't even care if you just rip a page out of a magazine, stick it in an envelope, and drop it in the mailbox.
but i like mail :]
and by the way, college isn't so bad.
life has changed, a lot, but things aren't supposed to stay the same.
there are people i miss a ridiculously lot.
and some I'm secretly happy i don't have to see anymore.
i'm realizing that things haven't fallen apart without me here.

ok. i deleted a bunch of people off of my friends list. Not exactly a friends cut.. just deleting the people who don't use their lj's anymore, or who got a new lj. It just annoys me having a really cluttered & big friends list.
If i accidently deleted you, then comment. Or if you decide to come back to lj, comment & i'll definitely add you back :)

I like thanksgiving. & I'm stealing Ginni's idea again
I'm thankful for..
My Friends. Tabitha for being my partner in crime & best friend. Kealy for her contagious optimism & crazy-ness (is that a word?). Logan for being my fishin' buddy :), Brendan for just being Brendan. Emily.. the most patient person I know. Michelle for always listening to me complain & helping me sort everything out. Brie for always making me laugh. Brianna for always listening and for helping me get my shoe out of the swimming pool last winter :D Rachel for helping me fight the "indians" last night & sticking with me for the past fifteen years (minus two weeks! haha) Jenn & Hayley- for being friends both at Lexington & BL. Kadie for spending her time trying to help me with my english homework. Everyone else who i forgot but still love <3
My Family. Anna, who i love more than I'll admit. My parents for putting up with me for the last fifteen and a half years. Ashley for saving my tshirt :) Ginnie for helping me with summer reading. Chase for being about the coolest kid ever. & the rest of my family I didn't mention, but i still love then anyways.
My School. I might act like i hate BL sometimes, but I'm thankful for it. I'm thankful for my teachers, no matter how much i complain about them. Mr White does the best homeroom devotions. Mrs B's class is crazy. Mr Settle makes our class interesting. Dr. Barker always asks us for our imput about which date would be best for a test and tries not to schedule things on days other teachers have assignments due to make it easier for us. Miss Moore tries to make english fun & she let me stay in her room for awhile after school that time i forgot to get my mom's keys got locked out & it was freezing outside. Mr Headley is really funny, sometimes without meaning to be. Mr Branney's patient with everyone.
(wow, that was harder to write than I thought it would be)
And random things:
My cell phone, even though my parents and sister got new phones today & they're so much cooler than mine. At least i have one.
My computer and my Ipod. Yes, i live in the 21st century.
That it's not THAT cold in south carolina. At least i don't live in alaska or something.
Tomorrow= turkey day = FOOD. and lots of it.
It's a holiday and i'm actually not sick for once!

i'll add almost anyone. there's a chance i WON'T add you if i go to school with you. i talk too much about school and things that go on at school, so i'm not sure i want to add too many ben lippen people. but if i'm friends with you, i might make an exception, and it doesn't hurt to try :D
i don't care if you promote, just don't promote anonymously. that shows you're ashamed of your own community, and that's lame. at least use your own username.
all my entries are below this one.. so don't think you're not on my friends list because you see this one first.. it's just so everything looks nice and neat if/when i make public entries.

i'm home now.. yeah. hopefully for more than a day or two. seems like it's been like that all summer. New York was fun. & Airplanes are fun. unless... they're the ones from Charlotte to Columbia and they're small and bumpy and all of that. but i did get some good pictures out the window :) we had a three hour layover in charlotte... yay for starbucks! (there's six of them in the airport)
today me and tab went to ft jackson with that little leadership thingamajig we're doing next year. so we sat through all the military junk and all (oh yeah, and we got to shoot guns at the little simulator thing... :D that was funnn). then we went to the WATERPARK!!!! i didn't even know Fort Jackson had a waterpark.. but yeah. it was fun. me and Tabitha kept racing down that slide and all.. and we about killed ourselves. and of course i wore my sunglasses in the water because i'm just cool like that.
