sounds and their worth
people don't seem to get it about minimal techno. It is not about the song, its about a structure and sound engineering. It has nothing to do with melodic sound or lyrics that touches you.
Its about sound perfection in its minimal range, balance and harmony of sounds, sound spacing, proper equalization, anal mastering, etc. Minimal techno is about sounds not about a song.

But then, since in certain countries minimal techno nearly became a part of a popular culture, there are a lot of amateurs in the techno production: bedroom producers who got them self a copy of ableton and start produce produce produce loads of crappy sounding rubbish.
and I am one of them.
So I dislike my self accordingly and never finish anything I start.

You can't produce minimal techno purely on laptop without proper speakers and normal mastering and equalization tools. You just can't. Its against its nature.
