    <content type="html">every few years, our taste buds change. i believe that to be true not just of our appetite, but everything else about us too; style, friends, music. there will be one song that you will swear at one point changed your life to the point where you burned it out from listening to it so much, that eventually (and months and months following), you wanted nothing to do with that same song anymore.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;then you have a moment, where something intrinsically special comes from that moment, and suddenly, that same song takes you by complete surprise and it's the first fresh pumpkin pie slice of the season. i had that tonight. it was a dear, sweet moment following a hard, but crucial night and it encompassed all of the tremendous emotions that surfaced. mm.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;that song for me is across the universe (it was the rufus wainwright cover i heard tonight). i hope for you that that important song comes back in a vulnerable moment when you'll take in that song with all the capacity for love you have.</content>
