(this is an obligatory im-having-my-hols post! heh)
so yeah, the gloooorious holidays are here, after a couple of months in that hell place called school :P (im joking really. i love school, especially projects *nods)
but i think some deity up there hates me. everytime i try to swim, ie. sat = looked like it was gonna rain, sun = rained, today = pouring bloody cats and dogs. so tell me what's gonna happen tmr? floods?
even if it doesnt flood tmr (and given my luck, i think it's gonna be a blistering sun tmr), we've gotta meet up for projects and i cant go swimming :P gah, stupid ech burnt our entire week with projects after projects after projects! but ok, hopefully most of christmas week would be free! (:
boy and i managed to get books cheaply on friday! three books each, with a cost of around 20 bucks for each of us and one of which a palahniuk for 5 bucks whee. luckily i didnt give in to boy's teasing earlier otherwise i'd have paid more man :P heh, bookworms lah.
yay, i ♥ my boy! :D
bloody rain, otherwise it'd be botanic gardens with boy and fred again rarr!
ok, so im supposed to be studying for my CD test tmr but like the boy says, im skiving/resting so here be pictures from last week's botanic gardens trip! (:
corliss and i bumming around at the back instead of listening
super cute kid that sinyi kept snapping pictures of!
and we were lugging muffins around the entire day for sinyi's birthday celebration! meant to be a surprise but i think she kinda knew lah, haha (:
here are the muffins! delish lah, what to say man.
us! with the muffins and a happyhappy sinyi!
first ever class photo, whee
the clique!
ok, darn fun day at botanic gardens man. and i think that sinyi really liked her muffins celebration! (: even though you figured out, we still hope you enjoyed yourself babe! :D
haha, went with the boy to botanic gardens last week too. we brought fred along, and that lil bugger was dragging us all over the place with his tail up the entire time. i can hardly remember the last time he was that happy man :P too bad i didnt catch any pics cause fred was tugging us the whole time heh.
heh, but boy fell sick tho. i think he was allergic to the dog or something, heh. but my silly boy loves the dog man, even when he is allergic. too cute lah right?
but anyway, it's been eons since i've last blogged properly so here i am. so school has started already, and the so-very-dreaded attachment has begun too. and best of all, implementing of those lesson plans have started again, so gah.
and what's the funniest thing right now? i've lost my voice. yay. so i can imagine my kids climbing all over my head tmr, if i decide to conduct my lesson hurhur :P
so on friday i went around asking the clique if i had a sexy voice.
me: *talks to one of the babes during ita* sarah: *sticks out head from behind the comp* actually your voice is really quite sexy me: so do you wanna have sexxx with my voice? sarah: HAHAHA no no HAHA *giggles*
kind of (inside joke!) funny actually heh.
after school, the boy and i went for
!
so it was gombak united vs home united (ps/ corliss, i didnt see any officers in uniform so you didnt miss much! *runs) and we supported gombak cause it was our home team! uh, well kinda :P boy and i were rooting for them (albeit silently, hur) especially since gombak was the underdog and they didnt seem to have much fans. heh
the first half was kinda boring but in the second half, precious "the iron man" (what kinda name is precious anw?!) scored against lionel lewis, dude!
the boy: *matter-of-factly* i kinda expected an instant replay so i could see that goal again man.
haha, that silly bugger (:
heh, watching that match was kinda scary too cause the boy and i were sitting at the very top of the stadium and we were surrounded by legions of home united's fans (or as legion as it can get since there weren't a lot of people :P). some of those fans were crazy man, hurling vulgarities at that poor referee and even the players in home united. wah, i never truly expected a situation whereby i'd hear things like "referee kayu" and "referee bastard!!"
but that was cool man, luckily i didnt cheer at the wrong time otherwise i might not be here blogging (heh, im joking lah, they werent that violent). that was quite an experience tho, i've gotta say, since neither the boy nor i went for a s-league match before. especially for a blind ass like me, who cant see where the heck the ball is when watching soccer on tv, at least i finally saw the damned ball! *cough
so yay, go bulls! (tho it was your last match of the season) no matter, next season! (:
heh, alicia said that it seems as though every time i talk to her, another month has passed! haha, and it's true because time seems to be passing damn quickly since im enjoying myself. HEH :D
i love you yeah, silly boy (even though you're an ass who apparently loves to beat me :P) and i want us to spend a longlonglong time together alright!
Love you forever, and forever Love you with all my heart. Love you whenever we're together Love you when we're apart
haha, ok i've been damn lazy to blog lately. but life's been good to me, so yay! (:
(heh, i think one can tell i've lost the blogging bug :P)
anyway, met up with corliss (rest of the babes, i miss y'all!) and my A05 girls last week. it feels damn good to catch up -- though, yeah yeah, i always say this but it's true! i miss all those whom i've havent met for damn long and i wanna see you all, my work schedule be damned. *cough*
and is it only me or is it darn adorable that out of us 4 A05 girls, jiemin and alicia are the girly, handbags-carrying, heels-a-clicking ones while bel and i are the tees & jeans & big bags carrying people (: but bel is starting to buy make-up so perhaps the next time when i meet these girls i'll be the only jeans-clad one! hurhur :D
the boy and i have been shopping too. it's strange to note that usually guys dread to hear "i wanna shop" to come out of their girlfriends' mouths but this boy of mine drags me to shop. haha, too cute lah (:
so anyway, we got shades! and we look like arseholes with them on, i dunno why either. too bad my phone's bluetooth hates my laptop, so no photos heh. and he bought vintage-y shirts from mustafa, one of which looks like a table-cloth (heh, he said this himself!) so i guess the next time i'm meeting him i'll be walking beside a table.. *runs*
i think we are scarily vain, what do you think? :P
we are insane too, and mustafa is seriously damn good for us to go crazy over the entire place.
toy chicken: *with a 'choke me' sign* boy: *chokes it* chicken: *starts playing that chicken dance song* me: *dances madly to it* boy: *squeezes the thing so hard that it'll be damn dead if it's real* chicken: *emits choking sounds* us: *laugh like mad kids* boy: there's a chicken dance meh? me: *laughs even harder*
ok lah, not funny like this but it's uber fun at that moment (and psst, i was giggling as i typed that heh). whee, mustafa's our new hangout, can you tell? (:
and thanks to the A05 darlings who bought me the shirt and the clique in school, cause i'm listening to my fifth oasis album yay! :D
boy who's an oasis convert!: oh yah, so i like 'banana cupcakes' (jack johnson's song) now me: *for the hundredth time * pancakes boy: hur, i see i like cupcakes more cause they look more like breasts me: *wtf moment*
hmm, it's been damn long since i've blogged but yesterday was a good day!
happy seventh, darling! (:
i know i keep saying how time passes so darn quickly, but there's nothing more true than that! how lucky am i to have you huh? (:
You wrote our names down on the sidewalk The rain came and washed 'em off So we should write 'em again on wet cement So maybe people a long time from now will know what we meant
whee, i love you! :D
--
so nothing much's been going on, other than working every damned day and spending time with the boy! work's pretty okay actually, despite the fact that i've gotta work short hours every day. the colleague's nice too, and a whole lot more responsible than me *cough* so i should be a thankful girl, shouldn't i? plus it's an easy job so i've got no complains. people who know where i am, feel free to drop by aye! (:
the boy has been on a quest to make me fat. he's been bringing me to places with good food, and tempting the crap out of me. and of course, with such tantalising food in front of me, how can i resist right? so i've been eating, while saying that i would swim, do pilates blah blah but obviously not doing anything of the latter. haha, luckily my mum got u-zap, so i can use it too!
oh yeah, i bought a pack of mealworms for the boy to eat, telling him that i'd pay for it so long as he finished the entire packet. haha, he "force-fed" me two while i was staring at him in horror. and when i said i didnt want anymore, he happily poured that lil sack of crap into his mouth. urgh, the kinds of food (or not-food in this case :P) that silly boy puts in his mouth!
--
i'm so sorry and i wish i could be around for you now, the way you were around for me in the past.
and i hate it, and find it so damn ironic that those big group gatherings of old only come about when something of this magnitude occurs. it makes me dread them, and hope that i'd never have to see all of you ever again, just so that these things don't happen anymore.
but i'm no longer a child, and i know full well that this sort of wishes never come true. right now i only wish, that you can hold on and be strong.
so sunday was my birthday! heh, whoever said said that you'll feel different when you turn 18 is seriously wrong, to me at least. so you can go clubbing, watch M18 movies, smoke, watch crazy horse, fuck.. *cough*
but anyway, i did have a lot of fun. most of sunday was spent with the boy ("please call me IBM! inquisitive boy melvin!") while the rest of the night was spent doing undesirable things, ie studying for the stupid CD exam, hurhur.
monday was spent with the clique in school (hello kitty, you're missed!), and im lazy to type so there be photos!
heh, sometimes being around people is the best thing on earth when i've been cooped up and thinking too much. especially when i have girls who listen and a boy who lurvesssssss me! (:
(hahaha, yah yah mushy lah. hmph, so sue me! :P)
but anyway, yes so i've been feeling the love and y'all rock aye?
hur, it sucks though, that i've got to study today AND tomorrow AND monday morning. oh wells.
and yeah, DLE was yesterday. it was bloody hilarious (though unlike how FM was *nudge nudge*) cause of this completely blur invigilator.
random guy: *raises his hand* invigilator: *paces the front of the room, completely oblivious* random guy: *gets impatient* cher and i: *watch and snigger* invigilator: *after pacing the breadth twice, notices the poor guy with a dawning look of oh!* cher and i: *giggle*
hur, what the hell. i bet that he wouldnt even notice if we cheat under his nose heh.
the boy: i'm a fierce boy! so you can call me FB. but i'm not FBT cause i'm not fierce boy in training. *walks* hur, luckily i'm not superhero in training, otherwise i'll be a SHIT.
haha, wtf. i swear, this boy comes up with the weirdest, most random things (: and yesterday night was spent reminising about those A05 days with him, and gah, i miss you all!
hur, totally disjointed post but you cant blame me cause CD's on monday and i really dont wanna study anymore gah!
if i lay here if i just lay here would you lie with me and just forget the world?
i would say it was a night of fireworks, but hurhur, we missed the fireworks! :P nevermind, there's still friday :D
baby, you're my constant, the first one i turn to, and i hope you know that aye!
even though like what you say - that words are wholly insufficient, i love you, you scrawny lil thing! (:
here's to many, many, many more six months! ♥!
--
and haha, how bloody surprising was it to hear corliss's voice screaming out my name in the near pitch-darkness? how sharp-eyed can you get huh, lady? (:
heh, i think i use way too many exclamation marks. !!!
gah, this has been a week where i had to battle, wrestle, tussle, grapple with *insert whatever --le words here* like one disease after another. so what, you're taking the chance to strike me when im down huh huh, you bastar *cough* you horrible bugs?! hurhur.
so now im having diarrhoea on top of everything. great. kill me.
heh, so my parents just bought durians and Fred was trying to smell them. (hur, this is gonna get kinda TMI so dont say i didnt warn you :P)
me: *sitting in the toilet minding my own business (pun intended, haha)* fred: *dashes into the kitchen and sniffs at the durians. suddenly leaps into the toilet to sniff at me* me: *laughs* fred just came into the toilet to sniff me after smelling the durians! dad: *from somewhere* maybe he's trying to compare if they smell alike.
HAHA, wtf. my father is sick, i tell you, sick!
then i see my mum trying to poke Fred with a durian, hurhur. so is it me, or is my family way too hilarious? (:
and im slowly but surely building my oasis collection and converting my boy to them, yay! :D
ps/ all you people who are sick too, get well soon aye!
went out with hazel yesterday, supposedly to catch a movie but did lots of catching up instead (:
i guess there are a lot of people that i've taken for granted and im quite ashamed to say that i never ever bother to go contact them. but im glad that the mum aka ms hazel lim dragged my lazy arse out heh. feels so damn good so just yak continually from the moment we met to the end of the day till we're both exhausted and hoarse, from both the talking and the shopping and the pigging out.
lunch was at Lerk Thai, where we satisfied our cravings and scared the waiters as we ordered over and over again. and with dessert to top it off! :P haha, it's strange how even after knowing her for so many years, we never seem to run out of things to talk about. from days in np to days in qps (where we started to be childish and bitched about some girl from long ago, hurhur) to family to blah blah; no wonder we were drinking water like crazy as we ate.
(for me that is, she just couldnt take the "spicy" food. which, in my opinion wasnt spicy at all! *runs)
pulled her around half the place while i was looking for clothes heh. well, one can only blame ECH for not even giving us time to breathe, let alone shop :P but it was good, since we both went home with our happy buys (:
heh, i was trying to be an idiot and annoy her..
me: whee. whee. whee! WHEE!! her: *perfectly straight face* so am i supposed to go "wah" to that? me: *pout* ok lorh.
pity that i didnt bring my camera out today, but certain memories are best kept in the heart aint it?
i love this girl who makes me smile. (14 years and going strong, what can i say?)
i love that boy whose "good morning afternoon" message made my heart go warm.
i love those babes who make school worth going to.
& i love all you people by my side :D
the weekends are always too short; the weekdays too long, hur.
you know you're getting slightly too vulgar when you're scribbling a journal entry in your log book and you have to stop and think for a couple of minutes to find an alternative to "screwed up".
or maybe my vocab's just bad, heh. or i've just been using way too much colloquialism lately.
oh wells.
today yesterday evening was great, sitting by the playground with my favourite boy and dog! (: it was too damned amusing to watch the silly boy jogging around the playground with Fred scurrying at his heels. the boy got bullied tho, cause Fred led him around lamp-posts, dustbins and grass patches as he went around uh, marking his territory haha. but the boy, being a sucker for cute animals, let him do it hurhur.
well, obviously the boy bullied Fred too, by putting him on slides and them wobbly-animal-thingies. hur, those two are evil, but completely entertaining :D
so now the boy is Fred's gorgor (since im the dog's jiejie) and he says he's in love with the dog, which brings a whole new meaning to love me, love my dog! (:
i appreciate days in which i stay at home for the entire day and take long naps, days in which i spend time with the dad and the dog in the evening (since the mum is working). the dad cooking dinner in the kitchen, me sitting in front of the computer, the dog dreaming his little dog dreams as the two of us talk about things, whether inconsequential or not. and then i put on a Beatles song cause the boy and i had been listening to them yesterday and my silly dad sings Let It Be badly, much to my amusement.
i listen to Hey Jude since my dad says he likes that song, and he goes "wow" as the beginning strains of the song plays.
he asks if i borrowed a Beatles album from the boy and i reply no, i downloaded them, and he goes on humming and whistling the song contently, the smell of food wisping into my room as i tap away at this entry.
why cant there be more of such days; why arent the holidays here yet? (:
what can i say, time flies when we're having fun! ♥!
but alright, anyway we went to the zoo last week! heh, that's such a kid-ish comment. stupid corliss made fun of me when i told her about the animals :P hurhur *cough*
it was fun! and we saw like lots of animals! (now i know why corliss was laughing, hur). the boy and i spent like hours in there but still we managed to miss stuff. wth, i guess that just shows how big our zoo is. and it's damn pretty with all the too-damned adorable animals. we took like uh, more than 150 pictures?
ok, here's a few pics! (:
jackass penguins! what adorable jackasses! (heh, i have wayy too many pictures of them.)
hur, check out this baboon (?). the boy reckons he has a brain for his arse, haha.
seriously how pretty can this tiger get man?
haha, this is damn funny cause it says coffee alleviates headaches but the boy gets headaches when he drinks coffee hur.
yay, night safari next time! (:
hur, attempted to go to mustafa yesterday. wah, seriously it was damn traumatising cause little india was so crowded and it seemed like i was the only girl for miles (alright, obviously im joking) but it felt so oppressive. come on, the boy got scared as well so im not that wimpy heh.
but honestly, the feeling's quite incredible cause you wldnt be able to feel that way at any other place. well, other than in india herself hur. it's like there are people surrounding you on all sides and even though they arent very tall, it's as though you're very small in their midst. not speaking their language makes it worse, and to hear everyone talking at the same time in that one common language makes you feel like you're hearing voices in your head and you start to wonder if people can go mad from hearing all that. and you're screaming "dont touch me" in your head, but obviously no one hears since you're not saying a thing.
i came out mostly unscathed other than for my sanity, but cursing hokkien vulgurities (yeah, so sue me) much to the boy's amusement.
the boy's right tho, that the people there would feel out of place anywhere else in singapore. and how i felt would be how they feel constantly as they are walking through the main streets of singapore. amazing, this just goes to show how well they can adapt and how seemingly quickly they can do it.
but ok, no more going to mustafa on sundays. fridays are good tho (:
so cher's birthday was yesterday and we gave the alcoholic alcohol! only right aint it :P had a surprise party for her, but she said she already figured so boo. heh. anyway, im sure we're all glad that you liked your present, judging by the way you held it oh-so-tenderly in your arms the entire time! and the way you kept fiddling with the bag and and.. *cough*
haha, love! but dont drink too much alright, as everyone's been telling you! (:
yesterday was tianshuo's birthday too. and the birthday boy sent the cake to school for the birthday girl and it was all-in-all quite an adorable sight. so yes, happy birthday tianshuo!
accounts test was after class and stupid me decided that im too smart to use a calculator to calculate what was 5% out of $60,000. which brought me to my yesterday's sense of sigh-ness when the boy told me that because of my one mistake, answers to 7 different parts were wrong. hur, my primary school teachers told me im careless, and apparently, about 10 years later, im still just as careless. but oh wells, over already!
out with the boy after, as per our norm :D the silly one is a complete germany fan, and more or less i finally saw the way most guys watch soccer. it's amazing to see the way they are completely riveted by the screen; the way they are practically at the edge of their seat, clutching their hands together; the way how even they dont notice even when you attempt to throw something at them and it hits the wall right beside their head (haha, not literally of course!); and the confused little way they seem to come back to earth when it's the half-time break :P
the boy (during the half-time of the extra): hur, my hands are cold
hurhur, and he confessed that he was shaking during the penalty kicks. so when germany won...
the boy: *jumps to his feet together with the other people at lau pa sat* omg! deutschland won! deutschland!! me: *big, big smirk* him: *realises my presence suddenly * huh, what what? deutschland won, you know that?! me: *does the wide-eyed innocent thing*
what not to love, you tell me? (:
been nursing a bottle of jack daniels cola as i am blogging and i realised that i really dont like alcohol much. so i guess that brings me to the end of my clubbing career, even before i start! :P but i doubt im missing much, so.. heh.
anyway, check this out. it's in the Malaysian context and it says people in 70s and 80s, but surprisingly it applies in for Singaporeans and for kids who grew up in the 90s as well. brings me back to the primary school days. two words: beautiful nostalgia (:
off to the zoo tmr! and im excited cause i havent been there for ages! heh, im such a kid :D
whee, i havent updated for about half a year! *cough* just joking heh.
today is the kinda day where i would feel best lying on a beach, tanning my arse off, preferably with the boy without a doubt (: but school has officially started once again, and there's an AW essay to be written and thus, my fantasy goes up in smoke. what a damper, hai.
but anyway, this uber-short two weeks holidays have been fantabulous. been meeting up with various lovely groups of people, dude, so much love :D only problem was that the homework has been pushed to some tiny corner of my house and now i regret. (uh, actually not really. i stand unrepentant hur)
june is the month of birthdays! where sarah turned 18 (not 16, dear :P), the boy turned 19 and fred turned 2. and cher the alcoholic would be 18 soon too! girl, please dont let your legality be a reason for you for buy alcohol alright! :P
it has become habitual for the boy and i to go out exploring singapore, especially in the past two weeks (: i think if i seriously record down everywhere we've walked (yep, i think we walk more than anyone we know), this blog would become a travel log haha. soon, perhaps!
but anyway, something of interest: we found an egyptian restaurant that day, somewhere near Arab Street. the food was darn good pls, and the atmosphere fantastic. it was the kind of place where you feel as though time has slowed and you can finally relax (all togther now.. sighhh). to prove my point, the boy glutton ate slowly that day, which is a first! hurhur :P yeah, it was such a pretty and quaint and un-singapore lil shop that i regret not having my camera with me that day. but really, i guess it doesnt matter since im sure we'll go back there soon (:
