I just heard from Carla Jane and the website is back up, it got moved while she was working on some other files. I'm still going to keep my new group open and archive it on the Faramir archives and elsewhere, but CJ does such an excellent webpage.

There has been a lot for me to do but I've actually been doing a little writing lately. With moving, dumping the insignificant other (and losing over 300 pounds of ugly fat in one fell swoop), and buying a fixer upper over the internet I've managed to lose nearly 100 pounds of my own and am finally getting better health-wise. I am adding a side view of my house (it's a side view, but this is the main entry). There are three units, 2 apartments and a storefront, but my son and I plan on using the whole place, maybe with a roommate or two in the future.

So I've got my brand new laptop computer which I can use anywhere and am already working on the next chapters of my two fanfics 'Warriors of Gondor' and 'Dissonance and Consonance'. Things are looking up and I will announce it here when I finally get something completed.

I've sold my house and am buying another about 3,000 miles away. Because of the constraints of real estate transactions I will be on the road for about one month starting December 7th. I will post new chapters to my stories when I can.

update delays

For those of you who are waiting for updates on my two series, 'Warriors of Gondor' and 'Dissonance and Consonance', or any other new fics, it may be a while longer yet.

I recently had a bad fall which badly sprained my right ankle and the pain was so bad it kept me from noticing the torn extensor muscle on my left thigh. I've just been able to get access to a laptop so I can tote it around with me as I try to get comfortable and keep the muscle from tearing any more. Also the swelling and pain from my ankle has receded enough that I'm not constantly on pain killers(it was really bad). So hopefully by the end of the week I'll be able to get something finished.
