hi everyone

hello, this is my first post as you may well notice!

i haven't added any friends yet, but after i finish this post then i will search for people with similar interests, and hopefully they will add me back :)

i also want to fiddle around with the layout although i think i will take it a bit slowly.

i should introduce myself properly, or at least tell you a little about myself.

as you can probably tell my name is hannelore. my mother, greta is german. my father monty is quite obviously british.

i did religious studies, media and english at a-level, i am currently reading up on my favourite parts of each subject again. just because i have finished that part of my education doesn't mean i have to stop taking an interest!!

i have a cat, she's a cute little tabby called kirsten, after my favourite actress, kirsten dunst :) i live with my parents still, they don't mind as the house is pretty big and i don't get under their feet too much!

i am an only child, my parents had me pretty late so they didn't really bother trying for another. or maybe they were too old ;) they met in the sixties, my (improbably named) hippy of a father met her at an outdoor festival. my mother had come over to england about 2 years before they met.

anyway, i am going to make my journal all nice and pretty, and also make some new friends.
