it's so obvious. how could i ever have been so blind to not see? when george wrote faith it's about a man who is looking for his faith. he had tried all the religions, buddhism, christian, unitarian-universalism, none had worked and when he saw a new religion he always got his hopes up. then he'd be heartbroken when it ended up being all bullshit. if i may quote that wonderful song
