basically, i recently found out that a medication i'm having to take is causing my hair to fall out. more or less i'm just shedding, not pulling giant clumps out at the roots or anything yet, but i can tell enough when i wash my hair. i'm starting to get a little frustrated with the fact i'm trying to grow my hair out, but i keep getting asked if i'm cutting it. in three months, i don't think my hair has moved. at all. apparently, the medicine isn't necessarily what's making it fall out, but the fact that it changes hormones and shit and now i'm probably not getting the best nutrition for my hair. so, my question is this: what are the best vitamins/shampoos/treatments/eating habits/etc. for strengthing/growing hair? specifically the best vitamins, seeing as that's my main problem. i know biotin is one. brand names for shampoos and conditioners and any tips to keeping my hair from getting worse in the meantime would be pretty sweet, too. my face is far too fat for me to be bald.
