LADIES AND GENTS! I am now officially the boarding house queen of pancakes. I beat last year's record of 14 pancakes and now the record stands at 16, yes SIXTEEN! Im so proud of the record. Heehee XD something to jump start my day. WOOT!
saturday attended Christchurch Grammer School ball at the Grand Hyatt Hotel. really awesome, but looking at my pictures taken, i cannot believe that girl in the pictures is actually me. yes, was that formal. And here's where you go like GEE, she's such a tomboy how formal can that get. hahahaha! professional pictures not out yet but you guys will see it once i get it from my partner hopefully lol. the food was great, i reckon everyone school have balls when you graduate. its so much fun to bring partners along. then now im so tired, repeating monday all over again. 16days 16hours 23mins 45sec to exams. LORD HAVE MERCY ON ME!
wow what a wild three weeks it's been! 7.30am ladies and gentlemen and top of the morning to ya! not so much for me, it's been raining and raining, and well i guess a slow cool morning does make up for it. Last night lightning struck and well we ended up with a complete blackout. i let out such a loud scream that one of the girls who was in my room said "whoa rach! cool it babes!" hahaha. simply because i've been so into my work, almost there for a particular subject i was on and the blackout meant i couldnt do any work and it was only 8pm! ssshheesh! and this is not the first time it happened, tho the last time was not due to lightning. so there i sat in my room, pitch blackness with lighted tea candles all overe the room. everyone sat outside together so as to not get "eaten up by the anne symington ghost" lol. im not complaining cos i got a nice quiet room to myself.
i had a fuckin awesome 16th birthday, thanks you guys! :D i'll be putting the pictures up on the album once i got em all. over my 2 weeks of a holiday spent in singapore, i'd just like to say that whoever spent time with me, you've been a sweetheart, those who couldnt because i couldnt myself, im sorry we'll make time the next time around. and to those who just wouldnt, well you know what i mean ;)) it was really fantastic, i can recall my last weeks back here longing to breathe in haze or anything singapore. i'd smell a plastic bag and tell you it smells like boon tong kee chicken rice haha! i shopped like you wouldnt imagine, but this time it was the food type of shopping. i got to see my sexy 5ive, the trio, and to val, -ahem- M.G. WAHAHAHAHA! -dances to ipod-
which makes me kinda dread the fact that im sitting here at 7.40 on a monday morning, with a look of dispair on my face as i have to go through a tough 2 more weeks of tests before i (hopefully) break for a week and then its the exams already. the only consolation i get is that one week is already down. ive been putting so much work in, even by not going out till exams end tho drew is asking, no wait, i take that back, he's begging me to come out at least once haha! i'll try yeah. :D next week's already the year 10 social. where we year 11s have to wait another 7 weeks before we get our dance, spoilt for choice, dont know who to take as partner. wahahahaha!

one week already, one full week of fun aint that the best shit EVER. late nights up and out, day time full of laughter and giggles. Nothing can beat this...yet ;) not that I want it to but yeah. Just a post to cover the fact that I still update. I spent my past week laughing the shit out of myself with my 5ive, germ anna clar and all that laughing around the world in 80 seconds (inside joke) thing lol. my birthday's coming as well, people national holiday yah ;) technically it is, it's Anzac Day in Australia, so it's all cool. everyday's getting hectic and more hectic, physically draining. I try to waste time by slowly getting to class but the best i've wasted was 5 mins out of 50 mins? so it doesnt really make a difference? Orals after orals, and all that toil it takes on me, i now have to deliver a persuasive speech by myself to persuade god knows what tomorrow. i was thinking of debating why black is better than pink haha or that library hours should be open longer for geeks like me, which im not btw, just to add that effect cos i know someone who has a pair of geekfreak glasses. im less than 24 hours away and so far i think im going to convince my class that the United Nations need a revamp, to reform/regroup and to get in line because they are not fulfilling their job to the best that they can be.
Easter weekend was shitarse, my dad came down but i spent a full day and a half just doing my homework. Not helping that i had to write an essay that states that George Bush's speech before the Iraq war is good and persuades his nation. Not helping also that i dont like the fella and kept swaying to biased opinions in the essay. One Princess Diaries 2, one Days of our Lives (yes, quite the loser eh) on TV and 3 hours later, i finished the essay. Due in tomorrow, i'll bet it sucks balls but not like i really can bring myself to care with all my deadlines screaming at meehh!
Had crosscountry yesterday and came in 9th placing. fucking hell so malu can! but i had the best number i could have, 77th ;)
doesnt everyone wish they could kill me now after disappearing for like over a month? a quick update, im gonna have to do other stuffs, there is a social with non psas (non private schools) going on tonight. Retronite babeee!
since last you heard from me, ive been piled under tests, many of which didnt go too terribly thankfully! whew!i did screw some up though in case anyone was wondering heeee... i failed an open book chemistry test. how embarressing but AT LEAST im honest haha! but a lot of good happenings have been going on around here. i attended Broome to Bicton, which was a music fest, open air and free, just by the river at night, was very beautiful. I ended up with Jayne and Andrew being the last ones at Bicton Park long after everything had ended, just reminising over looking the river till we got picked up. Midterm break soon rolled around and i went to stay over at a friend's place since i didnt quite have anywhere to go. Again, im sure anyone knows i eat my feelings but since there isnt quite good food as anyone would have it back home in singapore, i had to shop my feelings instead. for the last month ive been shit broke. waiting for daddy dear to come down and save my soul. Father I have sinned. haha!
Next week is Easter Weekend. Easter seems to be a lil bigger than Christmas would be. dont know why. But since I dont get to go back my dad's gonna be flying down to spend the long weekend with me, 4 days out with daddy dear in the city.
Last week was FUCKING awesome. I attended Rock It '05- End Of Summer. the $60 ticket i paid was EVERYBIT worth it considering i was right at the front (yes that means im already at the fence baby!) and got to see so many acts. This year's rock it had Greenday, Simple Plan, Grindspoon, Shihad, Spazzys, Little Birdy, Scribe etc. over 20 acts i reckon. a whole solid 12 hours of dancing, jamming and moshing. Simple Plan was shockingly good live despite me being just being alright with their music, but whoa, Greenday OUTDID themselves! fire, pyros the WORKS people. They got volunteers to form a band on stage and this guy walked away with Greenday's GUITAR! SHIT YOU! haha. But oh well. And Billie Joe flashed his white ass hahaha and even felt himself up on stage haha! Meant as a joke. I could go on and on but you already get the idea. The after concert was funny, like literally. Monica lost her way to her sister's house which meant me her and alex ended up walking destinationless for 2 hours, she didnt even know we walked a literal round this estate until alex and me told her, at 1.30am we were sitting at the road side curb -.- slept only at 3 and got up at 6.30 to get driven back to school. which btw, we all felt utterly fucked but nonetheless hell good. everyone who went were telling how the event went.
Anyone caught Hitch recently? Hell good with Will Smith, heard that singapore censored some bits which i apparently got to see here haha. Was funny cos in the theater this couple were making out till i heard this loud thud, looking back, they fell to the floor but were still going strong with the making out hahahah! OHOHOH btw, get a copy of Guiness World Book of Records 2005, Singapore has a record in it on the first few pages. woooohooo! So proud.
Thanks to everyone who's been dilligently sending me emails and keeping me company on a daily basis. It really is the emails I get that makes me get up everyday. I miss 5ive shitlot, i miss my trio, i miss hawker food (shocking!). To my dearest neek, so happy for u when i heard the news. =D

Today was the school's annual swim carnival. It was quite a blast tho the cheering was no where as good as what i'd get back home but really who cares? My year group has just made a revelation today that we're the biggest yeargroup not only in boarding but also during lunch time, we just come together to have a ball where other people would just sit in their twos and threes and whatever clique they got. It's like suddenly we're not about cliques but as a close knit year group coming to have fun. T'was like today, nuts, apple and necterine cores were being thrown in all direction. I moved away and Patty was like "Rachel is there a particular reason you moved away from me". YEAH! OF COS! I dont want to be caught in your war zone! hahaha! We were having fun until Mrs Bennett had to come as say "girls you need to all sit down and be calm". Well obviously not, can you blame us? People even got small coolers, filled with ice cold water and drenched people with it!
It's Friday to say the very least. Im dead bored. Im not looking forward to start the week, just want to end the upcoming week ahead. Yes I know, not a very good start nor positive thought. Again, who really cares. I've just piled myself up with various sport trainings that i got in and have decided to kill myself in my school work. Ok im just kidding about the studying bit, because we literally play as hard as we study. So it's all good.
I'm headed for city tomorrow with friends, i hope. Otherwise i'd be walking down streets alone again. I just need to get out as well. I see myself staying over at my uncle's place so THERE IS MSN! WATCH OUT FOR ME AT NIGHT TOMORROW! What i DONT see is that me updating this on monday so Im wishing all you lovely people..
