Can anyone tell me if my son (age 16) joined a US High school would he have to repeat some of the years? ie. start in grade 9 or would he go in at grade 10 or 11?
Your best source of information would likely come from a counselor or school administrator at one of the schools. My son goes to the fine arts academy Mccallum High School. Area code 512. The number is 414-2519.

It is much simpler to find a good English school, and know what year your child is in; as everyone studies the same courses, and starts at the same time, and the government produces league tables.
