- I'm just not interested in reading
If I cut you, and you want to continue reading just let me know. But I think I kept all the people I enjoy communicating with through here and that feel the same way about my journal.
All my craft posts will continue to be public.
I have officially updated my etsy with all of my current stock.

I have my first Hamilton Craft Show on May 17th at the Makers' Market. This means I have about 15 new bags (totes and hobos) cut out and ready to be sewed up. So once that show is over with I'll be updating etsy once again with the new items.
I hope everyone had a great weekend!

This way my first show since before Christmas. It made me excited for the rest of the shows this season. I can't wait!

I love the pink fabric. It's so pretty and I got almost 5 yards of it.

I bought some of that fish fabric from Fabricland a couple of years ago. I was so excited to find more for a fraction of the cost. And that brown fabric is a heavy canvas.

My next goal is to finish 3 hobo bags and start on 10 or so zipper pouches this week.

I have a table at the Fan Appreciation Comic Con next month (weekend after these are released). There's a chance I might buy all of Silver Snail's stock on these blind boxes...
If you get a chance please check out:

I actually read through all of the comments. It's a good read and it sort of sets a fire inside of you, especially if you're a fellow etsy-seller and/or crafter.
Please list your favourite etsy sellers here in the comments.
I'm looking for anything cute (jewellery, prints, bags, coin purses, plushies), fabric (especially designers: Alexander Henry, Michael Miller, Robert Kaufman, Japanese), and just unique shops.
I'm annoyed that etsy removed the option to search by views. I used to search that way to know what people are looking at the most. But now, I can go through 10 pages without finding something I like.
Thanks!
So it's craft show season again... I have signed up for the Toronto Comic Convention in April, the Concession Streetfest in June, and will be doing the monthly Makers' Market downtown starting in May or June. I'm so excited but also a little overwhelmed. I took a small break with sewing over the winter. I mean I sew here and there but nothing steady. Anyways, here's an update of some things I finished last week.

I made this out of a thrifted pillow case.
By the way things are going, expect a lot more updates of my finished projects.
There is a spot in the email for the buyer to leave a message.
This is what I found-
Message from the buyer:
thank you for being creative
I think that's really sweet.
Please recommend some artists for me to listen to. I am in such a music rut.
As for artists I am listening to currently:
Tegan and Sara
Metric
Dragonette
Death Cab for Cutie
Jimmy Eat World
Modest Mouse
Coconut Records
Rooney
Rilo Kiley
Feist
Lilly Allen
I know it looks like I shouldn't be in a rut but I've been listening to these bands constantly that I'm getting tired of them.
But I'm not only interested in those 'genres'. I have a weak spot for anything dance-y or anything I can sing along to.
Like: Black Eyed Peas, Justin Timberlake, Timberland remixes (haha), Nelly Furtado
Just recommend anything you like at the moment.
All prices are in US$$$. I will post the shipping amount underneath each item. If you want more than one item, I will combine shipping for you. I will then invoice you through paypal.

Monster Party Memopad
$1 - shipping $2 (maybe 3-4 pages missing)
Mushroom Memopad
$1 - shipping $2 (maybe 3-4 pages missing)
Hello Kitty blindbox - Badtz maru

Maybe some vintage fabric (Hello Kitty, strawberry shortcake)?
Lots of buttons/ribbon/paper?
I have a lot of things to go through but I've realized that my minor obsessions need to be purged. I have too much. I need to stick to fabric because I can use it.
Everything will be dirt cheap ($1-4).
I might take pictures tonight or tomorrow depending on my time then I'll post everything.

I updated our new Christmas Aprons!!
October 28th at the Gladstone Hotel in Toronto:
It was super packed with tables and people. I was thoroughly impressed with what I saw. We did alright selling our items but for what we paid for the table it was definitely worth our time to just advertise and hand out business cards.
Our make-shift table.
November 3-4 at Marritt Hall in Ancaster:
This show was my worst one yet. For the amount you pay for the 2 days, you would expect a lot more traffic coming through the building but it was quiet all weekend. There were a lot of Christmas items and older-more country type crafts. But it wasn't only us not selling. No one around us was either. Everytime you went to the washroom people were complaining about how slow it was.
