Alas I know I have not posted anything since Katrina awoke and spread her force through the South.

Well it's been difficult to digest all that's happen in the past week or so.
I could feel something bad coming.
I could feel it in my bones.
Something while watching the news about the mandatory evactuation.
I just kept saying to myself "You better get out of there, you better get your things together and go, because this one is gonna be a doozie"
No time for a hurricane party.
Just get and go.
And lo and behond it came upon the good ole home of Jazz and Mardi Gras, and continued to sweep its way through the South.

Well I just saw a yahoo message that made my heart feel good.

They found Fats!!!!

I can remember as a young girl listening to him with my grandmother.
How his low rich voice would feel her house and we would dance and boogie and sing w/Fats.
I was so enamoured w/his sweet tones.
He's beend found and he's ok.
Good news.
