I'm just sitting here in stunned silence. As soon as I managed to log on (my internet connection was iffy), I read that Michael Jackson is dead. Not sure what to say or to think about that, if I have to be honest. But what I do know, is that his music was the first I ever latched on to, which is still a feat for a hard of hearing person. Damn.

My cat is currently sitting on the lower roof of the kitchen, unsure of how to get off from there. But it's a wonderful warm night, the stars are out and I even sat in the garden for a cigarette or two. (Don't scold me for smoking please, MJ was my first idol and I practically worshipped him when I was younger.) I don't want this to be real.

What a roller coaster ride today was. I don't want anymore surprises, please. But it's just about right that Michael's death completely killed LJ's server. That does amuse me. It is odd though that I woke up at about the same time as the first news reports of his death came rolling out.

RIP, Michael. You've deserved it.

But this is waking my RPG character Scott up. You know he's an MJ fan. *wibbles* Ack. Play stay asleep. I got teary enough when I heard Jermaine make a statement.
